If you're concerned with hitting a specific age for this, you're doing it more for what other people will think and society than yourself.

It will become very easy to get laid (it should have around 30) and you'll get bored of casual sex and the meaninglessness of life

As a woman (female) who wants marriage and kids, I really feel like modern feminism fricked me over.

Modern feminism fricked everyone over if you think about it. I concede that ok someone women had it rough but there were plenty that didnt and now you need dual income just to get a mortgage. Hows that good for anyone?

It did, by doubling the workforce and suppressing wages. Basic supply and demand. The purchasing power of 1 income before feminism is the same as 2 incomes post-feminism. You ladies got duped into slavery alongside us men and you're never getting out of it now, haha

Feminism gave you freedom. Freedom to show your breasts without judgement. No wait, men still think you're a prostitute not worth marrying if you show your breasts to strangers, so guess that one's out the window. So the only freedom you got is being able to wageslave just like the rest of us until you're 75 years old. Enjoy your freedom babe

Only like 30% of caucasians in burgerland and europe between age 30-35 have kids, down from like 70% back in the 80s and 90s. So men with families are the outliers nowadays

Yes it's bad, but no responsible person wants to send their kid off to an institution for 10 hours a day when they're 3 months old and keep it that way until they're 18 years old because mommy has to go back to work just so the family can make ends meet. People who aren't rich are forced to choose: A) let the government raise your kid. B) have no kids

I own a house and my wife stays at home with the kids. We live in south east Michigan. A house, two cars and 3 kids is possible if you don't try to do it in a city.

            Anonymous

The median income in Michigan is $35k. Let me take a wild guess. You make around $70k or more, which covers the wage of two people in your area and which allows your wife to stay home. But for the vast majority of people in the US and Europe, this isn't reality, as demonstrated by the median income

I make around 60k anon, and if you want more in life you can't settle for the median income

                >if you want more in life you can't settle for the median income
You and your wife have a combined income below the median so not sure what you mean by this. But if you and your wife are able to make it work with that income, good for you

Dont forget that groceries and pretty much everything else has gone up 40-50% since 2020 too, while wages are only up 10-15%. A little more if you count tech workers. Most people are struggling to make ends meet as is and having another mouth to feed that gets to spend more time awake with some purple haired lunatic in kindergarten than it gets to spend with you is the last thing they want

You idiots take this so personally.

He said "can". CAN. Not is.

He's just stating that a loner-type man can be a bad thing. It means there's something wrong. That man didn't have the social acumen to keep family ties, keep a partner, or a friend. Those kind of people should be watched more closely as they are more likely to go berserk.

Is that such a controversial thing to say?

While you are technically correct you know what he really meant
Boomers are certified wordsmiths the way they say things, they say it just the right way so you get what they mean but also leaves plausibility deniability "oh I didn't mean it like that"

        Anonymous

I understand what you're saying but if we're going to make inferences on what he said then we can also add foundation to what he said.

This guy is a typical boomer man. The nuclear family, fitting in, and being a "manly man" were drilled into in this guys head his whole life. He can't see anything different so we shouldn't take what he's saying as fact but rather the obvious rejection of a lifestyle that doesn't conform to his.

Well that's exactly my point. It's always these religious people pushing the get married and have children agenda. Now that religion isn't so big people are starting to think and feel for themselves and those ways of thinking are (rightly) being questioned.

            Anonymous

I'm not religious but having a family for a man is good edification to life. It may not be to you, which is fine, but I don't think you ever reach manhood without procreation.
