Eisenhorn, Ravenor, Gaunt could be easily adapted. Hope the Eisenhorn show will be at least passable.
I didn't like the Eisenhorn books nearly as much as I expected to. From the descriptions I expected a murkier, more fricked up story of Imperial bureaucracy and corruption, but I just finished Malleus the other day and the first two books basically feel like a TRPG campaign. Which is fine, I read the Dragonlance books as a kid, but I was always told that Eisenhorn is the gold standard of 40k books and it was a let down.

Yes, the books had none of those.
It felt more like Miami Vice with corrupt cops than the twisted edge of damnation seeping into reality to destroy the vestiges of human civilisation, which was what it was going for. I think it just demonstrated how the Warp and demons have changed over time in the franchise, and how they've gotten a lot better at writing surreal hellscapes.
I think it has its place. I like the brief looks into the Brazil-tier administratum stuff in all the Imperial Guard books, like how the constant munitorum mistakes are part of why the Ghosts are always fricked.
Honestly the imperial bureaucracy bit about the Imperium is my least favorite aspect of 40k , it just gets moronic after awhile
because 90% of the black library is just that bad.
