When I did my undergrad thesis, it came out to 65 pages total and probably 15 of those pages were just my data, graphs, maps, etc. Sounds likely, his subject would require a significantly higher amount of data.
The claim was about the document he made to get his PhD.
Whatever you want to call it, thesis or dissertation, the thing being claimed as 3 pages is an abstract of the actual work. If you weren't a Wal-Mart employee you'd know that theses/dissertations are rarely available freely like journal articles/papers because they are not peer-reviewed and are kept at the university and only available on request.

Considering it's a dissertation about astronomical observations half of it could just be his raw data. Whatever it is, it's certainly not 3 pages long as the /misc/ OP claimed.
When I did my undergrad thesis, it came out to 65 pages total and probably 15 of those pages were just my data, graphs, maps, etc. Sounds likely, his subject would require a significantly higher amount of data.

Whatever you want to call it, thesis or dissertation, the thing being claimed as 3 pages is an abstract of the actual work. If you weren't a Wal-Mart employee you'd know that theses/dissertations are rarely available freely like journal articles/papers because they are not peer-reviewed and are kept at the university and only available on request.

I think that's supposed to be a reference to how a positive electric charge tries to move from high potential to low potential (low potential means less positive, or more negative charge in an area).
