For me it's
1 > ................................................................................................................................................................................................. 2 > 3 ................................................................................................................................................4
i'm convinced he was never in the original filming and was only added once everyone else had wrapped. he just teleports around, has almost no interaction with any other character. he just feels so inserted. No Lionsgate, we're not interested in a DEI version of John Wick.
The opening fights and the continental were good, it was just that middle section that dragged. The antique store fight is easily top 5 in the whole series.
>it's not a CG set >proceeds to post a set with greenscreens
I didn't mean NONE of it existed like star wars, but that room was very obviously not real in terms of a building

>show a building exterior that has zero all glass floors >somehow multiple all glass floors to fight in >it's just a movie chud!
shit was lazy
John Wick 2 is fun because of all the exotic feeling locations in Italy and the expansion of the story's mythology with the whole international guild of assassins.
4 kind of drags the most and doesn't have enough variation, it becomes too long and mind numbing. Donnie Yen is kind of cool but I felt like his Star Wars Rogue One character was just being recycled again
Also, did he just kind of get away with killing the other Asian guy? Like, he kills Jim to get to Wick, but then he doesn’t kill Wick and betrays the bad guy anyway?
At that point Caine didn't see a way out except to kill John. Even all the way up to the start of the duel, he figured he could serve his way out.
He also didn't get away with killing Koji as the post-credits scene shows Akira hunting him down in Paris.
I'm sure the bigwigs at Lionsgate would love to do something like that but it wasn't the initial intention of the writers. The first draft of the scene had Caine simply get killed. Since it's left up to imagination, I prefer that version since it ties things up nicely.
Haven't seen 4.
I'd probably go 1 > 3 > 2 but I just watched 3 yesterday so it being better than 2 might be recency bias.
1 was by far the best, 2 and 3 were entertaining but feel like two parts of the same movie, while 1 feels like a standalone action kino.
For me it's
1 > ................................................................................................................................................................................................. 2 > 3 ................................................................................................................................................4
wrong its
1 > 3 >>>> 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> dogshit >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 4
Put another between 1 and 3 and I agree. The Morocco scenes were shit, only goodthing there was the intro with the knife guys.
If you remove the black guy 4 is the best movie of the franchise

4 > 3 > 2 > 1
2 > 1 >>>> 3 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 4
It's 4 > 1 > 2 > 3
Everyone knows this. You can stop being contrarian now
Close, but
4 > 2 > 1 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 3
Yup.
1 > 4 > 2 > 3
Correct
The canon order
Correct. 3 was trash, not sure how anyone is defending it

the continental was shit - that glass and light room took me completely out of the movie - it was so obviously just a cg set
Oh no no no

1-3 were such ass, I don't see how 4 could be good. And I love action movies

So more sequel bait? Oh god.

The action scenes in 2 felt repetitive. He uses the same move like in a videogame
2 and 3 are fucking boring
3 was dogshit dude
for me its
any of the tom cruise mission impossible movies > 1 > 2 > the first 5 fast and furious movies > 4 > batman and robin > 3
It’s literally 1 > 2 > 3 > 4, and only the first movie is higher than a 5/10. Trash franchise for tactical nagger neck beards
1 = 2 > 3 > 4
4 > 2 > 1 > 3
I don't even remember what the fuck happened in 2 and 3. I only remember 4 because I watched it a week ago.
The first on the other hand was a good movie.
Haven't seen 4.

4>3>2>1
1 > dogshit > the sequels
regardless of where you stand, can we agree the people who think the first one is the best one are the biggest mindlets of them all
It’s the only good one
>regardless of where you stand
>proceeds to shit on probably the most popular opinion
yep
1 > 2 >>>>>> 3 > 4
John Constantine > John Mnemonic> John Utah > Don John > John Wick > John Wall
No no no WAIT WAIT WA-
No way he doesn't stop after the first set
he had fun on the first one and wanted to keep going!
I didn't like that by the 4th movie everyone had magical bullet proof shield suits that they can deflect shotgun shells with
