I’ve never tried to torrent movies or shows, but vidya takes at least a couple hours, so I’m not interested in doing that for shit that I won’t want to watch again after I’m finished for a year or two at least

I've got a huge AppleTV library I've been meaning to back up and have been trying to figure out how to rip and release to the internet at large
Thankfully I've kept tabs on what movies from my collection stop being available for sale at any given time and even if Apple stops offering to buy them they stay in my library

Will it work for ripping AppleTV/itunes libraries? I've got over 1,500 movies and if I figure out how to rip them I'll share them here

I'd rather watch a show in 480p and it be uncucked than watch it in 50k and it be edited to fuck

digital hoarding is a thing. i have a collection of 200Gb of pdf. never read any. doesn't matter, its better to have information stored in as many different places and mediums as possible.

Tonight a speck of dust will find its way into the sealed part of your hard drive and begin digging microscopic ruts in your discs leading to catastrophic hard drive failure unexpectedly sometime soon or maybe never who knows, but only if you don't reply to this post with a picture of ernest p worrell.

All media is horseshit. I've got blu-rays of the only five good movies ever made. I'm good. Let it all burn to the ground and be lost forever.
