Batman does not kill. It looked gorgeous, but was so fricking stupid and shitting on characters. Snyder shoud direct, some other guy should write script
I always took it to imply that Batman was forcing himself to dehumanize Superman to be able to do "what needed to be done" and him hearing his own mother's name snapped him out of his "you're just a fricking alien let me kill you reeeeeeeeeee" rage.
Yes. What else could it have been?
>He realized he was about to kill a fellow human!
He kills other people in the movie, why would he care now? >He realized he had parents too and that he's just like him!
Dude literally just went on a rant about how superman's parents probably told him he was special >He realized HE was the gun killing Martha this time!
Damn... Just mix the previous two points together

they shot it in one day apparently and the stunt guy admitted he was sluggish in that scene because he hadnt recovered from whatever the frick else they shot before that

Andy DiGenova co-hosts the Batman News podcast (don’t worry, it’s coming back soon!), but he also hosts his own podcast called Holy BatCast. This week Richard Cetrone, Ben Affleck’s Batman stunt double, was a guest on the show, and told lots of cool stories from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.
The first big piece of news was about the Knightmare Batman scene in Batman v Superman. Cetrone said that they decided to add that scene while they were in the middle of shooting the movie — it wasn’t part of the original script. Cetrone said it only took about a day or two to shoot that sequence, but he had trouble sleeping the night before so he was running on an hours’ worth of sleep while working on it. He was critical of his performance, but I don’t think many fans noticed any missteps. It was awesome!
It's actually pretty good, at least on some levels. General Zod transforming into Doomsday and killing Superman the same way he killed Jor El is mythical poetry
It felt like three movies in one. WB was really rushing to get to the Justice League since Marvel already had The Avengers at that point. But yeah the movie is a mess, but i dont blame Snyder, it's clear the studio wanted way too much from one film.
it came from a place of sincerity anon, you cucks have literally spent days and hours bending over backwards, stitching your own narrative to make sense of the plot and outright denying reality just to win some Internet arguments about a movie only YOU care about
how about this time you dont, how about this time you go out instead
Batman does not kill. It looked gorgeous, but was so fricking stupid and shitting on characters. Snyder shoud direct, some other guy should write script
>Batman does not kill
Batman killing in this movie was portrayed as a bad thing though, showing how far he had fallen. I think it worked since by the end Batman stops killing people and learns the errors of his ways, reborn in a certain sense.
Never thought about it, Tbh it makes it even worse mate. Batman in Batman vs Superman movie learsns to come back to the Batman ways that made him Batman in the first place
I hate the fake comic book fans who hold onto these moronic rules from literally the most archaic dear industry.
NOBODY gives a FRICK about comic books. A SINGLE manga made in Japan sells more than the entire comic book industry every month. Most comic book authors work second jobs.
If comic books all disappeared tomorrow not a single fricking person would blink.
the post was a direct response to the homosexual OP who said no valid criticism was made. I literally posted a near 5 hour long list of videos doing just that
I don't outright hate snyders DC stuff
I don't like it because it feels like its really close to being kind of good, but it always focuses on the wrong thing for a bit too long or awkwardly handles a scene or character
You people really can't get over a fact that you ;oled a bad movie. There is nothing wrong with liking a shitty movie. This movie broke a cinematic universe, it was bad
>This movie broke a cinematic universe
Cinematic universes are for manchidren, Snyder was trying to do something new in the confines of creating a new 'DCEU' and the moronic masses rejected it. Now you get the Flash movie with Batman and Superman being replaced by girls.
All criticism is valid. Grow up.
fpwp
Take something like Cinemasins, they make up atleast 60-70% of their sins by being willfully obtuse. Stupid people’s opinions are never valid.
FPBP.

Hope your enjoying pride month you sodomite
Eat a dick homosexual. BvS is Kino.
>capeshit
>kino
Nice 10 year old reaction image, get that off Reddit? Maybe you should stay there.
I am sorry for your taste in capeshit
you will never be a woman, an I’m not sorry
Original
Cope and seethe
Agreed. Only criticisms I've seen are nitpicks, misunderstandings, and subjective opinions. It's really one of the smartest movies in recent years.
>subjective opinions
So, just like your opinion that this movie is kino?
No something like
>guaranteed replies
>stopped fighting because their moms had the same name
Ya, surely that’s what snapped Bruce out of his rage. Just the mere fact that they shared names...
Yes. What else could it have been?
>He realized he was about to kill a fellow human!
He kills other people in the movie, why would he care now?
>He realized he had parents too and that he's just like him!
Dude literally just went on a rant about how superman's parents probably told him he was special

The whole scene is mirrored to the prologue where Joe Chill kill Batman's parents. Batman realize he became Joe Chill.
if this isn't a reach i dont know what is
Henry says the same shit Batman's father did. In the exact same position.
TIL they made the batman logo comically fat so the superman logo could fit inside of it. for some reason I'm less bothered about it now
The Knightmare scene being a little shoddy is the only valid criticism.
they shot it in one day apparently and the stunt guy admitted he was sluggish in that scene because he hadnt recovered from whatever the frick else they shot before that
I've heard it was reshoots. Not sure how much time they had exactly but it wasn't much.

please elab. How can I debunk if you’re gonna make vague comments like this
how about you touch grass instead
How about you stop being a giant homosexual

Batman does not kill. It looked gorgeous, but was so fricking stupid and shitting on characters. Snyder shoud direct, some other guy should write script
>Batman does not kill
Batman used to kill a lot back in the 70's.
Yes, that's the entire point. Superman inspired Batman to become a hero again, same with Wonder Woman. Superman redeemed both.
Yes in a way it's a different type of origin for Batman in that it's him learning to become Batman again.
Bale and Keaton both killed. Why only for this specific movie did redditors soil their pants?
Christian Bale's Batman, ironically enough, killed more than any other cinematic Batman.
How the frick did they even counted that. At least the best The Batman tried to not kill. Apart from the chase scene
Robert Pattinson's Batman killed during the chase sequence and Riddler's goons.
He didn’t kill in either of those scenes. The chase sequence is hindu cope, people survive worst crashes than that everyday.
I hate the fake comic book fans who hold onto these moronic rules from literally the most archaic dear industry.
NOBODY gives a FRICK about comic books. A SINGLE manga made in Japan sells more than the entire comic book industry every month. Most comic book authors work second jobs.
If comic books all disappeared tomorrow not a single fricking person would blink.
and they still to this day make succesful movies about comic books
shocking
Batman killing just killed the movie for me, simple as. Frick you
This movie is unwatchably bad. 95% of criticisms are valid.

there you anon when you get through those, get back to me
Bunch of morons. You've fricking MovieBob videos there.
>hurr durr
you cant dismiss criticism just because you hate the source anon, the CONTENT is whats important
this is the typical response i expected from a DCuck whenever they get a little push back lmao
>the CONTENT is whats important
Content made by midwits and morons like MovieBob.
again, personal attacks doesnt invalidate critique
MovieBob is an idiot. Any and all criticisms he levelled at the movie were wrong. Because again he is an idiot with shitty taste.
No one wants to watch your fat ugly mug Bob
>typical response
You have not made 1 actual criticism yourself, all you have done is link a dozen youtube videos that NOBODY is gonna watch.
the post was a direct response to the homosexual OP who said no valid criticism was made. I literally posted a near 5 hour long list of videos doing just that
