Point Break.
Demolition Man.
>Demolition Man.
90s
From the cinematography you can't tell the difference.
80s and 90s action movies are all the same
get glasses
A lot of Cannon low budget movies
lnvasion USA
American Ninja
Delta Force
Death wish 3
48 Hours
Escape from new york
>Commando
Still baffled it looks like an Hallmark movie.
Wut
I mean maybe at moments when its supposed to like with his daughter and stuff.
>rambo and madmax not in OP
off to a shit start
i've had cobra for years but never watched it
is it a pile of shit?
Lethal Weapon
Police Story
The Killer
Extreme Prejudice
A Better Tomorrow
City on Fire
Cobra
Bulletproof
it's good yet moronic, it has good action, is well paced and looks nice. Bulletproof is also moronic and good - (Frank Mc. Bain is a cop that's been shot 36 times and keeps each bullet in a jar - played by Gary Busey.
Extreme Prejudice was such a ballsy action movie
It must be hard to be so obsessed about something you dont even think is real
Here
What movie?
dead heat
this was quite the letdown, mainly because Joe Piscopo sucked ass
>tfw you spend all your points on VIT
Miss the days when filmmakers had respect for buff hardworking men.
top tier staples = not as fun as mid to trash tier
>Red Heat
>The Protector
>Trancers
>Lady Terminator
>Runaway
>The One
>The Punisher
>Free Fire
>Iron Eaglr
>So Close
>Nemesis
>Lethal Panther
>Blind Fury
>Masters of the Universe
>I Come In Peace / Dark Angel
>The Crow
i was bummed by red heat
i prefer raw deal
Raw deal is pure kino. The opening chase with the stones playing in the background is delightful
>Bloodsport
>Hard Boiled
>Under Siege
>Hard To Kill
>Snake In Eagle’s Shadow
>They Live
>Robocop
>Highlander
You can't just toss in 90s movies. It's cheating.
my mistake
If we're talking about average 80s action movies we need some ghostbusters and night of the comet
>Cobra
Maybe if they ever release the director's cut but the theatrical is barely above trash. Easily the weakest 80s action movie.
Agreed, the pg-13 rating really drags down the film. The main villain is cool but the movie never reaches the height it does during the opening scene
Escape From New York
Big Trouble In Little China
Aliens
Hard Target
Action Jackson. The Hidden. 10 To Midnight. To Live And Die In L.A.
Too many to list.
Based except for Action Jackson. Weathers deserved better. Have you seen
>Thief
>Aliens
>Midnight Run
It's a given, but Terminator of course.
#1 coming through.
>homies don't know about The Hidden.
hidden was much better than i thought it would be, a little more think-y than a standard action
however as much as i worship japan i didn't like this one
thanks fren
What was his fricking problem
He didn't want to eat the entire slice. Simple as.
Cobra has some amusing random quirkyness, like when Stallone throws the newspaper on the barbeque grill or when he teaches the latinos how to park a car
Right Im sold on this movie. I never watched it before.
how a israelite eats pizza
>F3 Dragonslayer
>No results
shameful
Yeah I was not a fan sorry. Less is more did not work for this film imo but I only saw it once many years ago.
Beverly Hills Cop
Big Trouble in Little China
Escape from New York
The Living Daylights
To Live and Die in LA
Thief
Aliens
Bloodsport
Predator (I think it’s just ok but a lot of people seem to love it. Any alien movie is better than any predator movie)
Red Dawn
Road House
Colors (not “action” per se but…)
Salvador
Platoon (again, not strictly “action” but it’s a war movie)
Miami Vice (TV show but it honestly holds up and is worth a watch. It’s fun and influenced basically everything that followed it)
trash low budget 80s cheese but plenty of action
These are not pure action movies but they are still action packed. The Hitcher, The Thing, Conan, Runaway Train, Repo Man, F/X, Kill Me Again, Total Recall
Year of the Dragon
no retreat, no surrender
The Taking of Beverly Hills is in the top 10. Sad it's release got fricked up. Looks based on blu.
I Come in Peace is another classic for nongays
I also like Raw Deal.
The soundtrack, the dump assault, Arnie being a wisecracking womanizer and joking all the time, Sven-Ole Thorsen, what's not to like?
>He raped, murderd and mudeladed her!
The scene in Raw Deal, I don't have my screenshots on me, but that late 80s office, man. The grey suits, the pastel pinks, the shiny golds
Cobra is great because it's like a parody mixture of 80s action movies and hardboiled cop stories but played 110% straight. I mean he even has "AWESOME" on his licence plate.
I also enjoyed Andrew Kinoson as by-the.book cop douche, and frankly, Brigitte Nielsen was pretty hot here.
