A change between two kind hearted boys

Beavis and Butthead isn’t a comedy, it’s a tragedy with a sweet ending. These sweet boys have learned their lessons. I hope in the upcoming season, they will no longer insult or smack each other but work on their friendship and learn to get along better with each other and the people around them. I hope for hurt, comfort, heart, and drama. And by the looks of r/BeavisandButthead, so do the rest of the fandoms. Beavis and Butthead being a comedy is outdated and boomer brained, but turning it into a dramedy would be exactly what the fans want.

I want them to learn and grow as characters, especially my sweet little Beavis. Beavis is such a bean who’s kind hearted, caring, and loving. I would love a scene with Beavy mourning his mother and Butthead comforting. As they grow as friends, they grow as people. No more mean spirited humor or uninspired, unfunny slaps or smacking, just these two growing and excepting they’re not made of stone, it would be Kino as frick. And this is EXACTLY what all Beavis and Butthead fans want. Just look through Cinemaphile or r/BeavisandButthead.

Comedy is outdated, and I want character development and kindness for these baby boys, so does everyone else. I love them so much, especially Beavis, and they’ve been though so much pain no one could ever imagine yet they hide behind smiles. I desperately want Beavy to get a lover who will help him develop and teach him to be more independent.

I can’t stand the original show, not only do I hate 90s cartoons, but it’s mean spirited and passes off as “””comedy””” Do the universe didn’t do this, it showed us these boys have hearts of gold, and Beavis’s speech about how he hates being mistreated made me cry. I think these babies learned their lesson about being asses to each other. It was a Kino movie.

Please Mike, no smacking, no name calling, no Beavis and Butthead being beat or insulted, please make them kind to each other, please. All the fans want this.

No thanks. Sorry, OP. Comedy isn’t a boomer thing. I’m a Zoomer, my brother showed me this series not long before he passed away, We laughed together at it, and I fricking hate comedy shows and perfer shit like Steven Universe. If it was Cinemaphile-ified and softened up, I probably wouldn’t watch it anymore and would be pretty disappointed.

If you two watched “Beavis and Butt-head Do the Universe” and paid attention to the character development and undelining sad story the movie had with the boys, you’d whistle a different tune. The move shaped the boys into actual humans instead of circus sideshows to be abused like the series did. R/BeavisandButthead has a lot of good analytical post about this and why the movie is sad and better developed the boys and made them learn lessons at the end.

Nope. Still don’t want a drama of this show. Go watch the CW.

Kind of related but I hate those fandom people that don't like a show for it is, it happens too often now and I don't even want to communicate with people anymore

It already had a good ending it was responsible for two spinoffs and it managed to entertain and influence a whole generation of people
And some of it still holds up, plenty even

The ending felt very unnatural but didn't ruin the movie. We've had several episodes/specials where its clear Butthead didn't give a frick about Beavis and is a violent narcissistic sociopath to say the least. This was set in stone for the whole show/many seasons and the movie felt the need to throw in something otherwise. But it wasn't so bad. He didn't even apologize but the whole "were going to do this" part did seem pointless. They didn't really grow throughout the movie either. Just Butthead calling Beavis a wussy and saying "hes not really my friend" in the prison sequence.
