You don't have to. I learned about the oneyplays channel well after I watched and heavily enjoyed Smiling Friends. In fact the reason I started watching Oneyplays is because I enjoyed Smiling Friends so much I wanted something like that and Oneyplays turned out to just be comfy leave in the background kinda fun.

I me it's a let's play channel. They all suck. But I like to have it on in the background when I'm not wanting to watch anything and the crippling stinging sound of silence reminds me that I live alone and don't have any friends that I want to see.

I love how the boss is a nice old man with a passion for his company services rather than another greedy businessman,
He works with evil rich men and literal israelites. They have him have meetings with them. But he does seem to care about his workers and the whole job is "make people smile". Ide like a story of how the boss used to be a big rich businessmen and he wasn't happy so he met Charlie and Pim and other guys and learned that what he really wants is to make people smile. And to use his incredible wealth and power to make it happen as well as build a business in the shape of a giant yellow smiley.
