across the stars is the best piece of music associated with the Prequel trilogy of Star Wars, although Duel of the Fates is an extremely close second and I could understand if someone would put it as number 1

if anyone knows what John Williams was inspired by or thinking of while writing this please share

I like that it reuses the sequence of three stepwise falling notes from the main theme.

Don't forget, the theme is literally Luke and Leia's themes put together.

        >he should have retired after that
He did retire after that. He's been licensing the use of his name since then without actually doing any work for the goyslop that's been coming out in recent years.

it's ok, but john williams dropped the ball with anakin's theme
he wanted to morph anakin's theme into the imperial march over 3 films, but he ended up not doing that

it just gets played for a tiny bit in the credits with horns

Anakin's Dark Deeds mogs them all, and I don't even like the prequels.

It's my favorite. I love most of the music in the prequels, though. It's the one thing I like about the prequels.

Pretty generic tbh. Fades too much into he background and to whats onscreen doesn't enhance it.

Top three are across the stars/love pledge and the arena, duel of the fates and the CSI theme/march on the Jedi temple

      >CSI theme
you mean the droid army march?

march on the jedi temple is actually from 'the arena' in aotc but was left out of the film
