lead in several mid-tier rom coms, supporting roles in a few good movies, some 80s teen ensembles, being john malkovich. last decade mostly direct-to-video. seems disproportionately famous for his output

Eva Green
Only Dreamers, Casino Royale, Kingdom of Heaven and Womb is good and popular.
Surprisingly few for a nepobaby with big talent
I thought she was pretty good in Penny Dreadful.
he was in Hot Tub Time Machine, he's certified kino
I liked 2012 and that hotel horror movie with samuel l. jackson
>I liked 2012
Why?
Disaster movies are kino. Volcano, Dante's Peak, Armageddon, Greenland, etc.
Dante’s peak ruined row row your boat for me as a kid
That movie is highly entertaining. Peak disaster kino.
>Con Air
>Grosse Pointe Blank
>Being John Malkovich
Absolute kinography, nothing else matters.
Meanwhile, OP has starred in, 'Im a big giant fat homosexual who takes off his glasses to eat Black person ass and tickle balls and stroke shafts and has chick taste in movies'
Take it easy John
Had it up to here with you zionist fricks. What? Gotta have a break from /dead Gaza babies/ general? Sick of you JDF chuckleducks shitting all over my career. Sixteen Candles to Never Grow Old. Match that you zips I'm. Frick this shit.
Cusack out
I only remember him from pushing tin where he cucks billy bob
Alan Rickman comes to mind. Die Hard and maybe Galaxy Quest and that's it.
Sense and Sensibility tho
This whole thread could be brit theatre actors who only do movies to pay the bills. Richard Burton, Olivier, Gielgud - they were in all kinds of shite
Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
Harry freakin' Potter
>Why a spoon, cousin?
Actors who play themselves in every role don't really need a great filmography. If you need a John Cusack you'll get him.
Identity and Say Anything were kino though
High Fidelity was good
He got political, started writing for Huffington Post: Bush-Derangement Syndrome, was never the same again
>Bush-Derangement Syndrome
>Only 80's kids remember
Yes after high fidelity, it was all over.
Recently watched grosse pointe blank after 20+ years and it doesn't hold up. His schtick is dated and the movie lags. He was a product of the times in that everyone had more time and less distractions so watching some guy on a phone whipping the extra long chord around while he paces and talks was tolerated. It was really just a gimmick and its unnatural when watching it with aged sensibilities.
Diane Lane maybe?
He was poised for big things in the 80s, but he failed in his attempt to transition to serious actor (The Grifters/Fat Man and Little Boy) and the few subsequent hits he's had post-1990 are riffs on his 1980s image (Grosse Point Blank/High Fidelity/Hot Tub Time Machine)
Such a shame, wasted potential.
Steve Jobs was great. But yeah his choice of projects are fricking terrible.
Steve Martin. When I was a kid I was under the impression he was one of the comedy greats or something with dozens of great movies, like Robin Williams. Then I realized he only did a few movies before he switched to family stuff like cheaper by the dozen.
He must have done something to really charm that generation though because they all seem to love him.
SNL was what did it not his movies
You just know they will remake pic related eventually because some israelite has the "clever" idea to update it to more modern modes of transportation.
All the "classics" he's known for are mid to lame. Mars Attacks is unironically his best movie.
