This was overblown. Ellen literally just forgot something, had it corrected and then turned it into a bit on the fly where she was getting owned for laffs. That's what she does. She's a comedian. The way the media made it sound like Dakota so totally PWNED HER!!! was confusing when I actually watched it. Has to be the same people that think the actors for Draco and Joffrey are actual monsters.
Dakota literally said she sent an invitation to Ellen after Ellen pulled the same schick with her last time, and Ellen again tried to rib her for not inviting her. Looks like Ellen was going for a power play to assert dominance and guilt trip her, but then Dakota beat her at her own game. Also, Ellen looks/acts like a soulless Lizard person and it doesn't seem like it was always the case. There was a light in her eyes at some point. Being too rich and disconnected for 25 years must have warped her perspective.

She joked that everyone needs to do a Madame Web at least once in their lives and gave the example "yikes I just pulled a big madame web" or something like that.
