no actually I saw Tropic Thunder instead of this
Both of these movies suck, but especially pineapple express. Wtf was the point of pineapple express? Money laundering?
To depict Amber Heard dating Seth Rogen. It's the same general schtick as Knocked Up, Zach and Miri Make a Porno, The Long Shot etc...
This is still the best trailer ever made.
That literally sucks
I hated Seth Rogen and he's what got me started down my path to the reality of the talmudic cult.
That fucking garden gnome is so insufferable he's like a gateway drug to hating garden gnomes in general.
Bazed
>That fucking garden gnome is so insufferable he's like a gateway drug to hating garden gnomes in general.
Nice. I want to steal this.
calm down it's just a movie. Normal people don't get this melodramatic
>calm down it's just a movie
No.
Is evil and it must be destroyed.
you need to calm your hysterical tits
I can dislike what and whom I want to dislike.
>dramatic
You don’t know what dramatic is you gaslighting gay.
Nope. But I thought it was quite funny.
I never liked McBride
he's either really, really great or utter dogshit
McBride's good
Same. Nor have I ever liked John C Reilly, which really sucks because he manages to be in otherwise good movies.
checked and same
I hate his stupid face
he's just a dumb hunk
Same.
This is the end was fucking hilarious. It even had a serious Emma Watson cameo. But McBride's role was the best. Backstreet boy meta was brilliant. The peak of Judeo-Millennial comedy.
I don't even know what that is.
>I don't even know what that is.
Star Trek 2008
no my favorite film was Fellowship of the Ring, and it still is
Stoners are so pathetic. Schlubby stoners even more so.
Also Seth Rogan is a gay.
man Seth Rogen from like 2020 thru 2022 was trying really fucking hard to be the least likeable dude in existence
it reached a crescendo with that dogshit garden gnome elf show that pretty much immediately got removed from the platform and memory holed
Trump unironically broke so many minds. Mostly his opponents, but also some of his supporters.
Rogen is such a turbo garden gnome that even other garden gnomes look at him and think "you're being a real fucking garden gnome."
>Asking Seth Rogan permission to be upset about having your property broken into and stolen.
HONK
He's rich so he doesnt care. Meanwhile all the poors have to eat shit
garden gnomeS
EWSJ
WSJE
Sgarden gnome
I thought it was a massive let down, I was expecting something between how high and half baked, I don't even know why, specially after that intro which is the best part of the movie btw https://youtu.be/0-CiuiVSHZo
>Admit it. In 2008/2009 this was your favorite film.
I didn't even knew that shit existed.
This was my favourite film.
bait
This was mind-blowing in the theater... one of my all-time most memorable movie-going experiences. Haven't rewatched it since as I know seeing it again on my TV would pale in comparison.
I was like 17 or 18 at the time so my favorite movies were Crank and Shoot Em Up. They're still pretty solid action films tbqh.
Loved shoot ‘em up too. clive owen would have been a good Bond
Sad he got old just when he was coming into himself really
Ok, allright, I'll admit it... for like a year or two I watched this shit on repeat, ok? But I grew out of it, so please don't judge.
this
Yes, this movie was my absolute shit
Too bad Seth Rogen is such an insufferable retard. I cringe when I see him now
Gross
Even for a garden gnome it's a marvel how far Seth Rogan's career has come. Like wow, blackmail level of success.
get a real job welfare queen
I genuinely don’t recognize it from the pic
>t. zoom zooms
>you have to remember everything that ever came out in your lifetime
I don't even know what it is
Unironically great. The 35mm cinematography is very classy.
Amber Heard was insanely hot in this movie tho
Do you think she was already nutso back them
Still is.
No I was really anti-drug until my late 20s.
>2008
>Not Tropic Thunder or Iron Man 1
shiggydiggy
2008 was only 8 years ago, mate.
That was a pretty good year for movies.
it's funny
seth became insufferable after it and helped cancelling franco, but it was still funny
?t=7
Seth rogen only had 3 good films:
Superbad
Pinapple express
knocked up
None of those are any good anon.
I completely forgot that Amber Heard was the highschool girl he was dating.
Holy shit
Did 30 year old stoners really have high school gfs in the late 2000s? That's like, so unfair.
Still happening today, zoomer pussy is easy because most of their men are sissies.
How are Seth Rogen and James Franco even celebrities? Both of their careers have been an example of failing upward. Who are they blowing to keep getting work?
never saw it
no i was like 10.
In 2008 I was dragged to see this in theater and couldn't wait until it was over. Genuinely one of the most miserable times I ever had at a theater.
i like the moth scene
reminds me of the tourettes guy when theres a bird in the house
?t=106
It was alright but Knocked Up is by far the best Rogen flick and was a better theater experience.
Knocked up was one of the best of that period, for sure. I remember the first time I got drunk was watching that movie.
I thought Pineapple Express and Tropic Thunder were both horribly unfunny when they came out. Loved Superbad though. Rewatched all of them recently to see how much my tastes have changed. Still hated Pineapple Express. Thought Superbad had one or two funny moments and the rest was shit. Loved Tropic Thunder.
Never my favorite film, but it really did capture the feeling of hanging with my friends in the late 2000's. I liked it in high school. Superbad was better.
I liked Pineapple Express but my favorite comedy was Step Brothers at around that time
However I've grown to really dislike Will Ferrell over the years, I just think he's more annoying than he is funny
I don't think I really like any of those actors that are the "funny" actors anymore, they all just seem annoying to me now. I mean Mike Meyers is okay I guess, he's pretty talented. I think Danny McBride is kinda funny even though it seems like he plays the same person in everything. I can't think of any others, john C Reilly is okay I guess
John C Reilly and Danny McBride are my favorites for sure. If they are in a movie I just know it's gonna make me laugh. I do agree that Danny is always the same character, but I don't care.
Yeah Danny McBride is cool
He was fucking hilarious in This Is The End
Will Ferrell is good with a script. When doing improv his shtick is being loud and stupid.
I was 5
Total gopher shit compared to Tropic Thunder
Most things are to be fair
Truly the last great comedy. Nothing by many orders of magnitude has come close since.
I loved watching this on fx because they would censor asshole with casserole
This was better
awful film one of the first true duds in that era of comedy that marked the end of those comedians
I liked it. Also Hershlag is hot
they used a stunt double for the ass shot it wasn't even her ass, awful film
wasn’t expecting much out of this at all but was pleasantly surprised.
i absolutely despised this film.
didnt laugh at all when he made that retarded joint and then turned it off not long after complete dogshit.
i always tell people the only film i walked out of was iron man 2 because i had to catch a bus but i forgot about this because thats how boring and shit it was
i don't care that you smoke weed. fuck off.
>i don't care that you smoke weed. fuck off.
You went to the theater and paid to watch Pineapple Express, with this mindset? And you call the movie retarded?
>best song is an obscure grace jones track not included in the soundtrack
why
Movie was so-so,. but to this day I still randomly say "I though hurricane season was over." Just one of those things that pops in your head and makes you laugh.
I never liked any of these actors, Rogen least of all, so that's a no. Never seen it and never will (at least not of my own volition.)
no actually it's always been Pulp Fiction. Seth Rogen is always the worst part of his films.
No I always hated Seth Rogan.
2008 fav was Gran Torino
2009 fav was District 9
Seth rogaine is a talentless bootlicker and shits up everything he's in. He's only famous because his friends cast him in their movies. If he wasn't sucking Judd's cock he'd be working at McDonald's.
I tried watching this and I just got too bored like 30 minutes in.
In 2008/2009 I pretty much exclusively watched movies starred by Ben Stiller
Emma Watson walked off the set completely triggered and traumatized and disgusted. The director would shoot the script to get it in the can and and then let the actors riff. And a joint would be passed around etc,..
So they get to the Channing gimp scene, and McBride just decides to go full Aristocrat and starts improvising the most deranged shit. And of course Seth and boys find it hilarious and it just gets worse and worse. And little Emma just can’t hack it…
Years later she complains about it / abuse.
