It's not just that they aren't that impressive as far as the technical stuff goes, it's more so that I think they are genuinely childish movies made by a manchild people like to pretend is anything but because he called out capeshit.
I watch films as a form of low grade enjoyment because I'm too depressed to play videogames anymore, and also I'm secretly just hoping any given movie turns into a hot naked asian woman spraying her pee everywhere for like the last half hour of the movie, but only after she's played a convincing and sympathetic character, ideally an action hero of some kind, so I can relate to the character and enjoy it more than just that sort of porn.
