It really is one of my favorite MCU films. Easy top 5. My only gripe is how unceremoniously it kills off the W3 and doesn't even have Thor acknowledging the deaths of his best friends.
Everyone memed the funny bits, so they thought those were the only bits people liked.

There's no real point to L&T beyond Thor making peace with his incredibly boring ex-girlfriend.
Thor Ragnarok itself, it cashes in on what's left of Thors credibility for a Guardians of the Galaxy clone, it's enjoyable, but as you see from the sequel, you can't so that twice, the entire Asgard things already a joke.
It wasn't. The soundtrack is tricking you. Thor spends as much time being a jockbrah and being made a fool of, knocking himself over with a ball, joking while someone is murdered next to him, etc, and has less reaction to the Warriors Three death than missing dinner, along with nobody mentioning the lack of Sif or worry about her whereabouts. Odin's death and the first scuffle with Hella looks like shit on that greenscreen, and should have been in the alleyway from the trailer. It's every bit as shit as L&T, and simply has better music and action set pieces, and Loki.
You liked Ragnarok, and so did too many people, leading to them trying the same shit again so we got Love & Thunder. It's not complicated anon, you liked and supported shit, so we then got the same shit again with less sprinkles.
