if illegally obtained evidence isn't allowed in court, I doubt the police could get a warrant from evidence illegally obtained by a third party, when they can't verify the veracity of that evidence in the first place. If I say I broke into your house and found a crack pipe which I then give to the police, would that get them a warrant to search your house?
