>Alexander Skarsgård to take 'all sorts of virginities' from Harry Potter star in 'kinky' queer biker movie

>The upcoming British film "Pillion" stars Harry Melling as a "weedy wallflower" who becomes a "24/7 submissive" to the handsome leader of a motorcycle gang.

> They didn't always seem like parallel franchises, but it's finally time for a Harry Potter star to get the 50 Shades of Grey treatment.

>Harry Melling, who played Dudley Dursley in the popular wizard films, is set to become a "24/7 submissive" to Alexander Skarsgård in the upcoming British film Pillion.

>Described as "a fun and filthy romance," Pillion stars Melling as Colin, "a weedy wallflower letting life pass him by." But that changes when he meets Ray (Skarsgård), the impossibly handsome leader of a motorcycle gang.

>Ray brings Colin out of his dreary suburban existence and into a community of kinky queer bikers, "taking all sorts of virginities along the way." But eventually Colin starts to wonder if life as a sub is actually liberating, or if it's just replacing one form of suffocation for another.

Casual sex and hook-up culture is evil, everyone knows it. It's just not fun and rebellious anymore because it's socially acceptable, so now we see it for what it really is

you're misunderstanding what's happening. it's meant to dissuade people from seeking any kind of intimacy or embracing any complementary roles with one another. it's not an oldschool parable against casual sex, instead it's trying to herd everyone closer to living alone in isolated cubicles, feeling ashamed of any instincts or urges, and seeking solace in porn or material consumption.
or did you think the plot synopsis was somehow about guiding homosexuals to an enlightened view on romantic relationships?

Bill will be fine because he’s genuinely talented and has a unique look to him. The only “good” performance Alexander has given is in the straw dogs remake, but even then most of the role was just being very attractive and intimidating.

This happens more often than people think in BDSM circles, most due to misconceptions from the sub about what it is they actually need from the dom.

anyone that thinks tha tlife is liberating as a sub is dumb for letting these moral inversions infect them.

Why can't you just have someone whip you and go home after? I "understand" why you'd be into that shit, but cannot grasp why you'd want your whole lifestyle to be one big sexual exercise. When I shoot my goo, I'm done. Eat a pizza and watch a video. Make some tea. Why would you WANT to keep playing that role when you're done fricking?

        Anonymous

In a perfect BDSM world, it's more about trust and control than just sex, but everyone gets hung up on the sex or comes to discover that one person in the arrangement needs something other than what the other is capable of offering, and a lot of times it'll be about shit outside the bedroom.

anyone that thinks tha tlife is liberating as a sub is dumb for letting these moral inversions infect them.

Liberation is subjective, as is the path you pick to walk to find it.

Interesting. Sounds kind of like a secular version of becoming a monk. Like you're retreating from the wider world and finding a lifestyle in a smaller, closed environment with clearly defined rules and expectations and such. Escaping the chaos and uncertainty of the outside, the giant ongoing mess where nobody gives a shit about you. Instead you're in a little sanctum and rejoice in that certainty of purpose. And getting ass fricked a lot is ancillary to that. I'll admit my reflex is to call it "unhealthy", but what do I know? Certainly don't want to tell anyone how to live their life.

            Anonymous

There's a certain parallel with monastic life, in the sense that the person has made a compact with another entity to live in a particular fashion in exchange for some form of release or reward. Where a lot of subs in particular seem to get confused is differentiating between making the arrangement because they're running from something or if they're running to something. Ultimately, assumptions from either party tend to wreck those arrangements, because honest communication often gets left on the side of the road in the rush.
