This kinda looks like shit and I genuinely was hoping it'd be at least decent like nu-Evil Dead was but it looks more like that trashy CGI The Thing prequel. The facehuggers looked fricking terrible. Only way I'll watch is if there's confirmation that there's no jumpscares because that shit ruins the entire appeal of Alien.

The original has the facehugger jumping on Kane, the dead facehugger dropping on Ripley, Jones jumping out of the locker, the big chap behind Dallas in the vents, the reveal that it’s on the shuttle with Ripley. The second one has the colonist in the wall waking up, the facehugger in the jar, the facehugger jumping at Ripley and Newt…

It's way scarier than every actual Alien movie. It's as long as a dozen Alien movies. The digitigrade legs are necessary for the creature to actually be scary and feel threatening since then it's towering over you and looks less like a dumb human in a rubber suit running after you. Another ship detected the Nostromo's emergency beacon, they found the flight recorder adrift and detected the alien signal from LV-426 causing them to go investigate. They also had a crew member get infected but did freeze them since they didn't have an evil android onboard then they went to get help at Sevastopol space station. The Company learned about someone who had information about the Nostromo and decided to send a team. Amanda Ripley had followed in her mother's footsteps and works in space, and since she was intent on finding any info on her mother's disappearance, she joins up on the expedition. When they arrive at Sevastopol, they find the docks have been damaged and no one is answering. They will need to cross EVA in space suits. Things go awry and the team is separated. When Amanda gets onboard, she finds the station in chaos.
Would make a great movie. They made a digital series of it on Youtube even.
