>alien species drinks blood
a copper based blood is completely acceptable
came here to post this
>repeated repetition
Thanks for proving my point.
This. Horseshoe crab blood being copper based is just one example of it on Earth jolly African Americans.
copper compounds if my memory serves are typically blue or purple not green or copper-y
>desert planet
>native aliens are bipeds
Explain to me why this is bad.
There are deserts on Earth. Bipedal locomotion is more energy efficient than quadrupedal locomotion.
In loose sand? Pretty sure you want more surface area.
Desert doesn't mean sand. It means lack of water.
I guess in literal sand dunes you want to be light weight or have camel feet. In general bipeds are more energy efficient than quadrupeds tho. Humans can easily hunt most other four legged animals on earth by pursuing them to exhaustion.
are there any films that have both vampires and aliens/monsters with alien blood or monster blood, and it's established which type of blood the vampires can drink?
thank you

>aliens have super powers and far more advanced technology than ours
Where did this idea come from? Why does everyone assume aliens would be superior to humans
Well the fact that they can even get here, at least means, technological superiority.
The aliens at our technological level or lower can't travel intergalactic distances
are you... serious?
if they can travel from their planet to ours then by default they must be technologically superior
Not that anon but what if that's the only technology they've focused on?
They've figured out space travel but holy frick our crops are dying, please help us agricultural Earthlings!
You can't get to the point where you're making starships without having mastered efficient food production.
You'd still need some form of food production for interstellar travel, so they probably have that covered.
It's pretty inconsistent.
1 problem is killing them so instead of focusing on fixing it they pour all their efforts into space travel.
haha yeah and the aliens have to beg us for our food and pay with their bodies and they're an all female species haha
I liked the Torchwood (Doctor Who spin-off) special where the aliens used kids as drugs.
Maybe the female aliens want my cum, it's ambrosia to them.
Civilizations don't advance to that level without consistent food production. Scarcity is another thing, but then they would probably just vaporize us and use our resources.
How many alien civilizations do you know?
Six here. Not ashamed to admit it, even if you know more than me.
I am the alien civilizations.
You should watch Star Trek. Plenty of species more moronic than humans in that.
such as the 'humans'
>aliens don't wear clothes
Thats often so they can skirt the r rating
>Alien has blue blood
>Alien has purple blood
Everyone has green blood on the Swamp Planet
>Alien makes my penis hard
>female alien has a penis
I think people have been conditioned by sci-fi to not truly understand how alien an ayy would be. They could operate on a completely different time scale. Like imagine something that perceives and reacts to stimuli similarly to plants. Literally every biological function developed separately from us and more than likely would be distinctly different from any living creature on earth.
>more than likely would be distinctly different from any living creature on earth
Impossible, critters on Earth are already wildly different, far more than in the wildest sci-fi.
What the heck am I looking at?
iirc it's an inflatable shit to attract buttssy (butterfly pussy)
>inflatable shit to attract buttssy
A penis?
a bug imagining the smell
A moth species, Ceatonotos gangis.
Pic related is devil's fingers fungus.
Moth dick
>Like imagine something that perceives and reacts to stimuli similarly to plants
So a plant. Are you moronic?
maybe he perceives and reacts to thoughts similarly to plants
>So a plant. Are you moronic?
No Black person think of a fricking Cow that reacts to stimuli at a speed similar to a plant. The fricking point is we live on a timescale separate from plants if a plant wants to do something it takes them hours - weeks to make small changes the point is the perception of time and scale at which reactions to stimuli happen are completely separate and alien from ours and the idea is that other organisms that have totally separate evolutionary histories from us would likely perceive and time in a totally different manner even if they are sentient.
If an alien could leave their planet they'd probably have evolved convergently with us and be at least vaguely similar
Got to have something like oppposable thumbs and an upright torso to be able to manipulate tools to be able to build a rocket
Can't live in the ocean or else you'll never get fire
Etc
wrong
convergent evolution is a possibility but not a certainty
we're at the mercy of our unique planet and billions of years of unique evolution, little things like say bilateral symmetry arent certain while something like eyes (independently evolved across multiple lines) may seem universal still aren't
we don't have enough data on the subject to even argue
fungi developing some sort of neural structure is in the realm of possiblity
>egglien critter
>alien species are just a stand in for blacks or native Americans
This trope is acceptable so long as it doesn't devolve into human=bad, Alien =good
>alien species is a female in a small bikini who wants to marry you
>aliens are multicellular
>aliens are actually religious spirits
I think it's stupid in the Alien franchise that the alien's blood is corrosive to humans, but human blood is perfectly safe for aliens to touch.
Plot holes 101.
why do people have a problem with humanoid aliens again?
It's convergent evolution. And looking at organisms on earth after 700 million years of constant evolution, despite intelligence evolving multiple times. The only one to actually achieve writing, civilization, fire and tool making was a bipedal ape man.
This is just the body plan that pilots space ship and builds houses. You're not going to see a slug do any of that no matter how intelligent they become
>why do people have a problem with humanoid aliens again?
because its narrow minded. You have a single genius during a short evolutionarily window of a relatively stable environment. Not every planet is Earth and not every environment is temperate forests and savannah in fact those environments solely based on conditions unique to earth. You can talk about convergent evolution but what relevance does it have when the gravity on a planet is 3x heavier or lighter, when the days are 5x fasters or slower, when a year lasts 20 on earth or when the dry and wet seasons change every decade? You are making the base assumption that because of convergent evolution that life on another planet will form a relatively similar environment to earth with similar niches for life to fill but you fail to recognize that not every planet is earth.
what a low iq point of view
>alien takes control of global communication system.
Who are the best ayys in movies?
I Thought these were interesting.
Arachnids. Every design is iconic.
I can only think of starship troopers, great design.
Blood is actually blue and only red when oxidized.
Aliens are always the good guys in movies. They always want to save the earth by attacking the US.
>alien blood can be used as fuel
let's see how they like it
>smears bright glowing alien blood on her face
>alien species only fricks human guys
They can’t resist the BHC
Can aliens be fully mechanical?
>anon has never seen a salad.
Based beyond belief.
Don't mind me, I read "blood" as "food".
>aliens are non-water based life forms composed of delicate crystals
>water dissolves them
>earth looks like a demonic hellscape
>we drink, bleed and swim in acid
