>All female characters are good
>All male characters (except Max, but that's doubtful) - bad
>Still one of the greatest movie ever
How did he do it?

bro that shit don't matter if you make a good movie, know what i'm sayin homie
the movie wasnt ass thats why
We just watched Immortan, Nux, and the gang riding eternal, shine and chrome. The females except furiosa were totally forgetable, a mcguffin at best. No one remembers their name, they don't die historic. They are cargo items.
the qt redhead arguably develops into a real character in her scenes with Nux
But what's Furiosa's tax plan?
Free water for everyone until they all die of thirst
>heh that'll show men
Yeah, this was moronic. It was obvious Furiosa and the team were going to get everyone killed within 3 months.
Funny thing is, she will probably have to do the same thing as Joe. Sell water to Gas Town in exchange for fuel and to other cannibals in exchange for ammo... especially if she needs allies to defend her settlement. Funny how she will become just like Immortan Joe. Except that women will get more privileges of course and they'll probably stop selling milk.
Subtle world building and amazing practical effects, shot on location, real cars etc. New furiosa might be a great movie but the obvious and poorly done greenscreen on the trailer means I'm not going to see it.
Why was it such a big deal to send water to the neighboring camp (gas town)? They are not that far apart, especially they could have gone to meet the truck. There's an army of them there, they should hardly have been afraid that someone might attack and they wouldn't be able to cope.
It's probably a daily occurrence but they just love being dramatic about everything
Rituals and events are important for functioning civilisations.
One girl betrayed them.
I don't remember anything from this movie other than mad max wasn't the main character
>I don't remember anything from this movie
Don't lie, you piece of shit.
Is that a doll or her dead baby
It's an interesting subtlety. They probably take the babies away from these women, the doll in her hands is like a substitute for the baby. She probably strokes it and it makes her produce more milk.
hard to say. looks kinda like a chromed up stillborn but there is also a canon surplus of creepy dolls in the area
It's clearly a doll you blind gays, look at its eyes
It's no Road Warrior. Tom Hardy didn't even attempt to sound like an aussie.
>waste the precious and very limited water in dysgenic morons at the end of the movie
Some how they're the good ones.
Firstly, it's set in Australia. Have fun finding non-dysgenic people there. Secondly, literally almost everyone is dysgenic (we don't know if it's due to the nuclear war or due to the facts mentioned above).
It's pumped up from the ground, it's implied that it might be tapping into the great artesian basin, which is a third of the country in size and has effectively limitless water for the small amount of people using it.
> if only you knew how bad things really are
can't believe Miller gave the creator of infinitechan a cameo
I think they're on a massive aquifer
Joe also "wasted" water as a show of power, probably misleading people into thinking its more limited in supply to keep order
So everyone seems to think it was Furiosa or the wives who wasted the water at the end. But I recently watched the movie and when the aquifers are opened, Furiosa and the wives are still on top of the lift. Who opens the water handles are actually the milk mothers.
>the milk mothers.
They're behind all of this.
The pumps would break down long before the basin ran out of groundwater.
>70 percent of the continent is still unexplored
Is Australia hell on earth?
It's unexplored because there's fricking nothing out there to explore, I wouldn't exactly call it hell on earth, but there's a whole lot of nothing that goes on in the deep outback
>Movie barely breaks even and is forgotten as soon as the hype train dies down
>Greatest movie
What did he mean by this?
The Nic Hoult character has the biggest character arc in the film in terms of how much he changes
There's still a chance for a new Mad Max movie
>Still one of the greatest movie ever
moronic take. it's not even top 200 of the movies i've watched
No one is interested in your top 200 shit. It's not about the shit you watch. Fury Road is the greatest movie ever made in terms of how a movie can be made. No one's come close. It's like Apocalypse Now on steroids.
>Fury Road is the greatest movie ever made in terms of how a movie can be made.
no one is interested in your BS. there's scores of movies who are more enjoyable or more interesting and less forgettable
>more enjoyable or more interesting and less forgettable
Are you a girl?
Directing, staging. Huge number of elements in the frame, natural shooting, explosions, endless race. You can't name a second movie that was so heavily directed except Apocalypse Now. Fun fact that Miller refused to use 3D cameras, even though Warner Bros. insisted, after two expensive 3D cameras were destroyed during filming
>Fury Road is the greatest movie ever made
Why?
>in terms of how a movie can be made.
What exactly are these terms?
>It's like Apocalypse Now on steroids.
Explain
it's certainly taken its seat among the greatest action spectacles of all time
if you're suffering from adhd perhaps
yes but I watched it in the theater on double adderall
extreme kino

this movie was so stupid to me
one of the girls actually says this exactly "we had the highlife!" and tries to run back before the fighting starts
You can do anything you want to a woman… anything except bore her.
It was written with feminists in mind, pragmatic people wouldn't give a single frick in those conditions, and in fact didn't for most of human history.
Would YOU want to be Immortan Joe's sex slave then?
Would you want to live in a dry cave with hunch backs in an irradiated wasteland?
Females are inherently good and everyone is aware of that. Females are powerless in society, especially post-apocalyptic society. All problems in society like crime, violence, shitty politics, etc are caused by men.
EVERYONE is aware of this, that's why these films are enjoyed by the mainstream.
one of the greatest movie ever
it's about on par with Waterworld, a couple cool action scenes with vast spans of dreadfully boring slop between them
one of the greatest movie ever
very embarrassing claim
but nux is the hero
Yes, in terms of drama, he's the real hero of Fury Road. A character who goes through change and makes sacrifices.
A character who goes through change and makes sacrifices.
Max goes from apathetic, to genuinely caring and Furiosa damn near gets herself killed
what's his legacy?
I didn't like how fast he swapped sides. I thought Immortan Joe had completely indoctrinated them from a very young age as War Boys. He fricked up once in front of Joe and just swapped sides completely? I mean it was smart timing but seemed a little quick to throw out his entire ideology.
The girl got to him
He had three chances to enter Valhalla with glory but was thwarted each time, leaving him to believe he was meant for something else. Furthermore, Joe called him mediocre, that alone destroyed his entire identity in an instant.
Well, we get hints that he doesn't get along well with the rest of the war boys. And after he was left alone, well. he's drawn to other areas of influence, so to say.
Are the milk mommies good?
It's warm and tasty.
Did you even watch the movie? Most of the harem is useless and Max is the only reason they stay alive. He even saves Furiosa at the end by patching her up because he's the only one who knows how to make a blood transfusion. Then there's Nux who switches sides and becomes a crucial part of the gang in lots of ways. God I hate delusional homosexuals like you who on top of your delusions try to force your bullshit down on others. Touch grass, please.
i'd argue that lots of the male "bad guys" aren't even presented as bad, they're just presented as on the other side to the heroes. like this guy for example seems to be loyal, competent, brave, and has a whole mini arc where he learns that he's been betrayed. there's nothing evil or bad about him and it's sad when he dies
or the bikers seem to be totally honourable and have a legitimate grievance
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE???
>aren't we going to Gas Town boss-sama?
>B-Buzzard territory? Okay... uwu
The man was just following orders
But it's strange that their world still has cars and weapons, but no radios.
The man was just in love.
This is just a fact, the war boys aren't meant to be bad guys. We had a whole main character dedicated to showing us how the war boys were just regular fellas who got manipulated and brainwashed by Joe.
I loved Fury Road. One of my favorite action movies in years.
You forgot about Nux. The movie makes it very clear that the warboys are victims, they are just brainwashed and not evil.
If they showed signs of wanting to leave, why didn't Joe just let them spend a week with the plebs? They'd come crawling back afterwards.
you're not some smeg who eats schlanga, are you?
At least I'm not a walking incubator and milk factory, lady.
I'm prepared to eat yours, girly.
I simp for Dag so fricking hard bros. Why do I like weird autistic c**ts so much
>Why do I like weird autistic c**ts so much
Yes, why? Very strange!
>Zero black characters
That's why.
