All I've done the last week is watch Tom Cruise 80s movies on repeat. What makes him so goddamn great? He's the only actor I like. All others are phonies and sellouts. At least he keeps it real.

There is one who can defeat him...
Him and Mel aren’t liberal npcs like most actors which is verry respectable
Kurt Russell is another one (vocally pro-2nd, for example) and he's pure kino. Though Mel would probably haze him for having an oven dodging wife.
He’s good-looking, intense and smart, and we all wish we could be like him.
you cannot bruise thomas cruise
The "Tom Cruise cruise control" meme was cliche before anyone thought of it.
Wtf are you me??? I did the same.
I was on cruise control mode
Amazing actor and was way ahead of his time for calling out psychiatry, which is actually just a front for the pharmaceutical industry.
Most underrated movie of his? All The Right Moves. Killer fricking flick.
>Most underrated movie of his? All The Right Moves. Killer fricking flick.
what would you rate it out of 10?
Honestly? Probably an 8...8.5? It's got a great cast in Tom, Chris Penn, Leigh Thompson, Craig Nelson and it's essentially a Springsteen song in movie form. Real deal shit that most films about teens shy away from big time. Exceptionally good.
>not Rain Man
pleb taste
Can't get over the fact he is a Scientologitst. Frick that OT8 alien bullshit
bro your thetan levels
Out of control, I know. SORRY. May Elrond Hubbard give me strength
With the rise of woketards infesting every dark and damp corner in Hollywood production studios, frankly scientology is very tame and innocent in comparison.
Damn, time has not been kind to Courtney Cox.
keeps the israelites away
He's definitely my favorite gay actor
Check out Tom Holland, he is the modern Cruise
>when keeping it real goes wrong
For me, it's his cousin, actor William Mapother.
Tom Cruise movies? Other than the Color of Money where he plays himself, wtf else is there? His movies were shit.
Buffoon-tier take. wienertail, Days of Thunder, Rain Man, etc.
hahaha wienertail and Days of Thunder sucked. Rain Man is a Dustin Hoffman movie. Cruise is just there being his usual annoying dickhead self.
pleb
Yeah, Tom Cruise really had nothing to do with Rain Man, it was all Dustin Hoffman. Jfc, the copium.
He was good in eyes wide shut. Probably the most rare times he cries

He seems like he just wants to act well and make good movies. It's his focus. An artist who makes art and lets the art speak for itself. Hollywood, on the other hand, reeks of perpetual insecurity and fear. They want to speak for the art and through the art because they have neither the talent nor confidence to create anything of artistic value.
Tom is literally an artist in a creatively bankrupt industry. That's it.
His self-confidence is grandiose
