Rock is based and his movies are at the very least entertaining. I'm working through all his films at the moment. Have seen 27 of them out of 40 or so.

Right I knew it was going for "fun", like I wasn't expecting Chinatown or anything. I liked the Happy Death Day movies, after all.
It's just after watching 6 Underground, I don't know if I can watch another Michael Bay movie. 6 Underground may have legitimately damaged my brain and was just bizarre to witness.
I always try to finish every movie I start watching, but I couldn't get through 6 Underground. Absolute dogshit.
Bay has lost his edge, 6U was trash, P&G is mid tier Bay but very watchable
It's a fun movie, kind of like Fargo but in Miami.

He lacks charisma/acting chops and was always a low stakes option for ppl wanting to watch an action movie. The fact that he's involved in both Moana 2 tbr in 2025 AND a live-action Moana tbr in the following year seems a bit much
The Scorpion King is the only quasi-memorable movie he's ever been in, and that's only because it rips off Conan the Destroyer.
