FlashGitz is usually actually pretty good if you accept that an edgy cartoon is just an edgy cartoon and you’re not asking it to save animation or be your favorite episode of ren and stimpy or whatever

How was that remotely edgy? It was barely 2010s new grounds tier

Bottom of the barrel trash as usual. Even more unfunny thas speedo's viral clussy animation, and that's saying something.

Being sarcastic and parodying of pop culture figures. It’s not scathing stuff but yeah they do Trans-formers and have low-end PC users be comically Indian and such. But yeah it’s all fine they’re just cheeky little animated skits, there’s no way some of your anger doesn’t come from jealousy or a sense that they have success they didn’t earn, but they did earn it and they get the job done. There is no way your anger towards them is actually all rooted in your idea of art

I think his entire purpose and career as a person is to fabricate and hint at scientific progressiveness, so he blows money on bad rockets and makes empty statements about buying top websites because that’s what his career is for and where his attention comes from

Very good approximation of the R&M style. The entire Musk-Twitter debate is pure American idiocy though. How exactly is a tech elite having total control over a platform going to stop a tech elite having total control over a platform?

Normies only think in 2d this isn't exclusive to Americans

I think the video actually did a good job emphasizing the stupidity of it.

This tech elite at least claims he wants less bias and censorship, while the current tech elites are openly biased and selective in applying their rules. Another tech elite taking over it the most practical way of changing it, since you're not easily going to get people to start using a new site when Twitter is so ingrained now.

        >This tech elite at least claims he wants less bias and censorship
Something I've learned from the culture war is that people have a very selfish definition of 'censorship'. It's easy to ask other people to be more permissive and have thicker skin, but there's no way Musk wouldn't drop the banhammer on accounts that challenged his personal interests, like Telsa union accounts. He probably wouldn't even percieve it as censorship.

Maybe, but currently one group is openly advocating and pushing for more online censorship. Elon probably would have his own bias applied and be unfair in some ways, but I suspect he'd be better than the people that have banning "misinformation" as a priority.

            >I suspect
Who the frick cares what you """suspect"""? The only thing thats for certain is that Musky will have unaccountable power over Twitter as its sole owner, and that's it. Anything else is just a matter of faith, and I don't put my faith in rich, weirdo redditors

It would be better if "unaccountable power over Twitter" wasn't something that mattered, but a small number of sites dominating the internet isn't likely to change now. The people in charge are already largely unaccountable and doing a shit job, we might as well see what Elon does with it.

Yes, because BlackRock was doing such a fantastic job with its unaccountable power over the site.

It’s extremely doubtful Musk is at a level of social awareness and material altruism to dictate the rules of conversation properly on a mass social scale

          >dictate the rules of conversation properly
A big issue is that people disagree on what this means. I prefer a more hands-off approach.

            Anonymous

Right, of course. How hands off could Musk be though? That’s if he really means to buy it and this isn’t his idea of a stunt

              >How hands off could Musk be though?
I'm willing to roll the dice on him being more hands off than the current people. But who knows for sure.
              >That’s if he really means to buy it and this isn’t his idea of a stunt
Yeah, we'll see. Him pussying out of buying would be a lame ending to this whole thing, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Can they not get sued for copying the Rick and Morty artstyle so exactly?
