>the Batfamily falls apart because Bruce decides to hang up the cowl for a while and see if it works this time (one member will side with the Guard while another will oppose them)
>it actually does work for a while until Joker comes on the scene and Jokerizes a big chunk of National Guard troops and marches on the state capital with them
>Batman un-retires, Batfamily reunites
>AND THEN THEY FIGHT (non-lethally)
>governor impeached, status quo restored, hand off to next writer
Big theme would be "what would the batfamily do if they didn't have to fight crime?" with character moments

I forget the artist but they said the script for the Catoman issue they need to do is down to weeks over deadline so they'll have like a week to draw 22 pages. They said it's probably gonna be crap and wanted to let people know that's why.

Yes they have, moron. The Balent, Brubaker, and Ram V runs are good.
There were some good 90s runs and Ram V and Joelle Jones were indeed good but Brubaker run is nothing without Darwyn Cooke and his understudies and Paul Gulacy
I think Brubaker had a good understanding of her character voice, although there are things I dislike about his run (the Bradley shit)
he really didn't. He just hijacked Rucka and Cooke's ideas and graphic design sensibilities and told meandering forgettable pulp stories. The Holly relapse story is the only truly good issue imo. Most of that era was just shock jock storytelling. Selina had more personality in the 90s
