Gabby underestimated the size of the internet plus the number of fricked up kids and spread herself to a dangerous point. Calling out and talking to her seems to have grounded her, they now have someone on the outside again to work with them. No surprise if some news reports start reporting on abusive parents getting popped or kids telling on their sexually abusive parents.
Assuming this is the end (for Angel Hare specifically; I 100% expect them to make a sequel series some way), I think overall the show did alright, definitely did great in terms of upending the usual analog horror tropes.
Loved all the (few) characters in the show, loved the 4th wall breaks being a major plot point, very cool show.
Issues:
1. They kinda fricked up with them showing 2 viewers for that first stream and no viewers for the other ones, I think they should've shown a livestream viewer counter at a higher number at some point to help show that Jonah's stream was shown to more than him +1.
1a. I guess it could've been more clear that there was a longer window of time between when Jonah first reconnected with her and when she disappeared on Easter, too.
2. Definitely felt like they weren't 100% sure what to do with the show as it went along, just kinda improvising as they go. I guess that's probably fine since it was only made by two women and a handful of VAs, but still.
2a. Season 1 being horror-adjacent and season 2 having almost zero spoops at all and less distorted record music is a strong sign they saw the "oh wow, this is so wholesome, I'm glad there's no jumpscares!" comments as law. I like it like this, but it was funny to see that horror review/recap guy fumble season 2's recap because he couldn't spin any of it as horror, heh. Still, it makes the series a bit disjointed.
3. Season 1's pretty packed with content and story, but season 2's a bit thinner since Zag doesn't talk about anything and there's no Jonah mystery plot.
Jonah's stream was seen by loads of people and kids, not just him, so she helped them and spread herself too thin and broke between all of them.
To fix her, Team Jonah found her, got her to focus on them, got her to talk to them specifically, and between Francis's "Angel Gabby, oh Angel Gabby" line and Jonah touching the screen again, that got her to lock into one body, one interaction, one mind.
>1a. I guess it could've been more clear that there was a longer window of time between when Jonah first reconnected with her and when she disappeared on Easter, too.
I think my biggest issue with the series is that we don't actually know what went on for those six months. Jonah said they were great, and I guess Gabby confirmed it in the finally, but what the hell did they actually do? Jonah certainly didn't ask any questions or try to get to know Gabby better, but it would be kind of sad to think that he spent all that time treating their relationship the same way he did as a child. I understand that some things are best left ambiguous, or can be relegated to offhand comments, but seeing a few glimpses of their actual relationship once their reunited would have gone a long way towards both heightening the emotional impact of Gabby going missing, and dispelling the general feeling of Jonah being a stunted manchild, since that obviously wasn't the creator's intention.
On the OST upload a few days ago they pinned a comment saying "Goodbye to an old friend" and I feared the worst
Glad that things are still a happy ending
i fcking told you gays day 1 >NOOO JONAH IS GONNA GO CRAZY PSYCHO AND KILL EVERYBODY BECAUSE OF HIS WEIRD BREATHING AND THEN AND THEN HE GONNA SUICIDE LIVE ON STREAM TO FORCE GABBY TO STAY WITH HIM
I feel like this series is anti mascot horror, like the cute and friendly thing turns out to be all powerful, but still cute and friendly instead violent and creepy
I kinda like the idea that Abaddon would be an actual threating antagonist, but nobody takes him seriously when he's in that form due to him being too adorable.
making him photo realistic like picrel would actually make him pretty terrifying.
I'd like it more of Abaddon was banished to a different tape by gabby and that someone else found it before Jonah. Like someone else's POV of the angel hare stories
I don't know, I kinda like that there isn't some big threat or real antagonist going on, it's just the story of an angel protecting a child and him helping her when he gets older.
from a business standpoint why dont they just milk angel hare? its their first and most sucessful idea yet
do they rly think the angel hare fans will stay for more kind world or west patch? they should capitalise as soon as possible before people lose interest again
>why dont they just milk angel hare?
They're selling goodies and shit. Not much else they can do when they already didn't know what to do with season 2. >or west patch?
Well it's better than Angel Hare, so people should. Too bad they gave up on it.
>dubs confirm
the finale of the second season was just open-ended enough and resolved enough character arcs to not need more, the idea will be stretched too thin if they keep going.
How the hell did they get so many views recently?
The first video has 38k views now
ManlyBadassHero, it's how I found it - he highlights indie horror games and is fairly even-handed with judgment, and the game was clearly made with love and care, which made my roommate and myself dig into the whole series.
fricking nice, I really appreciate this not going full jonah bad, they handled this really well, right amount of closure and open ending
this has become one of the better internet series I've seen
Ah, yes, Wreath of Life. The company that doesn't exist on any public records, has all of their previous IPs and holdings owned by companies that have ceased to be, and even the angels themselves don't seem to know where they are.
I'm sure Jonah just walked up to their HQ and immediately got a job as a broadcast engineer for their internet branch. He might've pilfered the cap though. The angels seem to be a bit loose with morals if it serves the greater good.
While this episode did feel wholesome it also turned out to be a nothing burger of a finale. I was hoping Gabby's disappearance had something to do with Demon Hares or just deciding to leave without a goodbye to Jonah.
Wait a second. If Gabby was streamed and got scattered in the internet but Zag didnt does that mean Zag really doesnt care about the kids watching him on the internet? Maybe he like pops in for two seconds and pops back out.
You can visibly see him phoning it in everytime he appears on air or in the game, and he's pretty dismissive toward Jonah, so that kinda makes sense.
I think she said hi to grown up Jonah for 2 seconds back in season 1, then immediately saw some shit on the internet, and went off to try and help a shitton of kids.
Zag basically admits in this episode he doesn't really give a shit about the Internet. He probably doesn't even leave his detective show much, if at all usually.
The extremely rare happy ending. I didn't think we'd get it, but I'm glad we did.
It was also neat to see Francis finally talk directly to Jonah. I seems to have become fully self-aware, so I wonder how he'll factor into the new business.
>isn't as fitting in this genre of horror
Why the frick not? Horror isn't always supposed to end in a tragic ending, in fact, isn't obligated to do that because the real horror was figuring out what was going to happen in the end and if its an expected bad ending then booo go along with the pile but if it's a good ending it will feel rewarding and satisfying.
NTA but to add onto what you're saying most of HP lovecrafts endings weren't really bad endings it just ended with the character being more aware of the things going on in the world or finding out their grandpa fricked a monkey or their family fricked fish people
The endings were bad in the fact that the main characters were left traumatized with no real way to cope with the truths they uncovered. The monkey guy in particular burned himself alive, and everyone privy to his secret agreed to erase records of his existence.
Is a common mistake in horror media that mistake having a "good ending" no matter how good it actually is isn't scary enough for a "scary movie" and analog horror specially is faulty of this also because many of it's series don't have actual endings planned and make up shit as they go along
>analog horror specially is faulty of this also because many of it's series don't have actual endings planned and make up shit as they go along
So fricking true, specially for the big names or new ones that look for "fame", the best are always the one who have a clear vision and plan
Probably not a season 3, unless the fanbase triples. Very likely that they'll make another series of something else (AH is their... fourth series, I think?), but they'll slip in some subtle nods/references to Angel Hare since that's been their money maker so far.
Wouldn't be that surprised if there's more interconnectivity between the different shows they make, eventually culminating in some crazy web of lore where all the pieces fit together.
If/when they make a season 3, we still have that third angel hare we haven't seen, we still don't know much about Keith/Wreath, we don't know what show Jonah was loading, and there's always the possibility of going deeper into what specifically happened with Jonah's childhood/dad since that was a bit glossed over.
>Jonah would throw away his friendship with Gabby.
He felt that it was his fault she was stuck, and was worried that he was distracting her.
It was a less erotic Cassa Blanca scenario as Jonah seemed to understand it. I think him suddenly feeling like he was disrupting Gabby was more or less his mouth breather -tisms acting up.
Would've been nice to learn why jonah lost his memory and what happened to his dad.
Anon I think it's pretty obvious why an angel would wipe the memories of a child who had help with murdering their abusive father
I would like a formal explanation, though. Was it a wonder beam? Did Jonah suppress his own memories?
I still say the series would have been a lot more interesting if they hadn't rushed to the broadcast thing and instead spent more time on more of whatever incident they hinted at. They went straight from "is he crazy or is it real?" to "ITS REAL AND THEY MEET!", and effectively threw everything else in the trashbin. They outright ignored the most interesting part of the story they had going, then went off the rails. The whole "making it up as we go along" thing really shows, and it really hurts the end product.
Yeah, I get the feeling he's just old and excessively jaded and blunt. He's not cruel or intentionally mean, but has probably dealt with human stupidity enough to have grown weary of it.
just how much of the internet did she see? was this her garden of gethsemane moment? do I need to apologize for the "fanart" I've favorited of her?
she saw how christcuckery and its cultural aftershocks have resulted in skyrocketing rates of male virginity and general sexlessness, combined with women going insane and collapsing birth rates.
there has to be a way for people to get pussy without being forced into marriage. that is a price that is absolutely not worth it. i blame the downfall of patriarchy and prostitution
>Jonah starts talking about keeping Gabby all to himself >"Ah, frick, they're gonna have him leave Gabby and go the whole 'escapism bad' route, aren't they?" >they don't >he stays with Gabby as his guy on the outside
You frickers, I was ready to post Gosling
I was entirely prepared for him to have Gabby wipe his mind again have him move on, so I could post about how he'd just investigate his childhood again, I'm pleasantly surprised they're letting him stay with her and act as her man on the outside, whatever that entails.
Have to wonder what would happen if Jonah tried to watch the show on a VR headset. Would Gabby be able to come out of the show and virtually hug him?
Group hug with her, Zag, and Francis?
He'd say no, then Gabby and/or Francis would coax him into doing it. Probably Gabby.
His "hug" would probably be a shoulder pat, then he'd walk off to sulk in the corner, or check his watch or something.
That's something I was thinking of as season 2 went on, the tonal shift was definitely going to lose some people, specifically those looking for that creepier "whoa, what happened to Jonas's dad? Did he beat Jonas? Ooooohh creepy old music!" vibe.
i feel like most of it is due to fanpandering in season 2
the creators constantly reading "omg angel hare is my hecking cute comfort character who saved me from suicide and drug addiction THANK YOU EAST PATCH YOU GUYS ARE GODS AND ANGEL HARE IS THE BEST THING EVER"
this is pretty much their discord server in a nutshell and i feel like its why they made season 2 the way it is
also theft king (drama fnaf tuber) joined and gets sucked off extremly hard there even thou the creators should know better and not associate themselfes with cancer like that
or obvious cub porn artists posting daily there including the game dev known as chucky the rabbit
hes a literal cub porn artist from inkbunny yet the creators associate themselfes with him
tell me this aint whacked up
Waited until now to watch the entirety of Season 2, and while I don't think it was as good as the first one, I still enjoyed it for what it is. I think they opened the door for a lot of interesting possibilities for the future, if there's ever a continuation. Also, side note, I think my favorite part was Jonah sperging out over the fact that he wasn't watching a comfy children's Christian cartoon in episode 4.
>people lost interest when they figured season 2 was gonna be shit
How?
i feel like this as a concept is worth so much more than whatever the 2 quirky tumblrinas shat out (figures because this isnt even their own character design)
you could genuinly make something great with this concept
Like what? We already have too many "spooky kid show" horror.

just look at the tonal whiplash between season 1 and 2
all the story that gets built up in season 1 gets no pay off in season 2
and in a rewatch you can tell season 1 is alot better than 2
iam not asking for edgy shit to happen but atleast have pay off for the mysteries you built upon
season 2 was basicly a 4/10 compared to the 8/10 that was season 1
>Like what? We already have too many "spooky kid show" horror.
Angel Hare should have been about some terrifying, incomprehensible being trying to protect a young boy from abusive parents. Like it's trying to be good but can't help be horrifying.
Only the first threads did well, then people got bored and Horrorgay stopped making as many posts so there wasn't really much to dicuss about
Honestly the first few threads were really fun, we got a lot of OC and people throwing shit at each other
i know..i made one of the first threads
we fcking hit bump limit each time
imagine making a show so dissapointing that even the local schizo loses interest

you could genuinly make something great with this concept
>you could genuinly make something great with this concept
And that's the painful part, given how easy it would be. >After Jonah gets weirded out by the differences between the official Angel Hare tapes and his personal recordings, he starts to realize she had something to do with his father going away >Instead of the whole broadcasting thing, Jonah has Gabby speak to him while he's watching one of his personal recordings >She can communicate to Jonah and Jonah alone through his recorded copies of the show, but for some reason he can't make new recordings that work the same way >He has to ask her if she killed his father, she swears she didn't kill him or anyone else, which doesn't have good implications for Jonah >When he asks her if he killed his own father, she just says "I thought we agreed you would be happier not remembering?" >He starts to become convinced that she killed his father, or talked him into it >Finally he can't take it anymore, and demands she tell him what happened >She points him to the collection of records that's been collecting dust on his shelf, to a specific record >on playing it, it unlocks his memories of what happened >His father was involved with some really bad people, and got into debt with them >Gabby had Jonah hide his fathers gun, then go over to a friends house before his father arrived home with some of those bad people >His father was telling them he had the money, but was planning to shoot his way out >Gun wasn't where he thought it would be, bad people got tired of waiting for the promised money and shoot him, then later on Jonah got picked up by the police and had the news broken to him >so technically, they are both innocent and both guilty >while mostly relieved, Jonah realizes there are a lot of other albums on that shelf collecting dust >Gabby tells him to not try to remember too much at once
There, a far more interesting Season 1 and a lead-in for S2. It would be that easy.
>tfw there are 20-something manchildren obsessed with cartoon rabbits on the internet >that are still pure enough to be friends with an angel
Why couldn't I stay pure for Gabby bros
Gabby in The Mandela Catalogue would be part of an underground angelic resistance trying to unfrick everything Satan and his shapeshifters has done to the world. She'd also be the actual Gabriel and would be pissed at her stolen identity.
Given it's implied that angels in Angel Hare have far more power outside of the show than they tend to display, it's entirely possible that Gabby would go around destroying alternates outright and end up teaching children how to avoid them - directly countering the Intruder's own messages. Zag might similarly be very active in figuring out where alternates are manifesting and who they are, given he moonlights as a detective.
Makes me curious how a Welcome Home crossover would go too, since that series heavily implies that Home actually is Satan.
>Makes me curious how a Welcome Home crossover would go too, since that series heavily implies that Home actually is Satan.
They all go to Hell for being gays.
>80% of them are rainbow coded.
They're just excessively colorful, like most kids' puppet show mascots were back then.
>And they are probably cultists
The only one we can say for sure is probably a cultist is Wally, and everything points to that being an unwilling situation on his part. He's forced into it by Home.
The only thing that would draw the ire of the angel hares is Home itself - and again, that's because it's probably Satan. Blaming anybody else would be blaming the victims and we already know that angels in Angel Hare really aren't all that concerned with stuff modern day Christians flip out about. Gabby herself outright encourages Jonah to not forgive people who have wronged him if he doesn't want to and to lie as needed.

I liked it better when this was an Angel Hare thread.
It's just Horrorgay being obnoxious and baiting people.
I wonder why rabbits were chosen as the Christian cartoon character, I think a lamb would have been better.
Probably because it's a more unconventional look. A lamb would get lost in all the samey designs used in vaguely Christian inspired media over the past few decades. That and people are moronic, so you might have gotten a ton of posts attacking them over using a lamb because of "satanic imagery" or some bullshit.

Yeah, but that wouldn't stop dumbasses. I've seen plenty of people associate lambs with "satanism" or b***h about certain media being "satanic" for having lambs in them - completely ignoring that lambs were used to symbolize Christ himself at one point.
I don't even know what this is but I wish this trend of "found media" where things are presented a some old as shit that turns out to be creepy or have deeper meaning, would just fricking end.
He was asked about demon hares in one of the fanmail episodes too, almost showing a picture of them. Heck, he made a joke during the credits about how jackalopes are demon hares, heh. I don't know when the game was made, tho.

The big problem is that ever since unfiction threads outside of ICS got ran off the board (Pretty Blood doesn't count, and he's already ruined those threads anyway), it's basically impossible to talk about it anywhere that has consistent posting. Angel Hare threads are probably the last place that stuff can be discussed on Cinemaphile given the circumstances.
Not that I necessarily agree with using it for that purpose, but it's a good explanation for why this talk is coming here rather than being done elsewhere.
Don't forget "angel hair" is also a thing, it's a weird fiberglass material that they'd use for decorative dolls sometimes. My grandma used to have a literal angel doll with literal angel hair on it and it constantly gave me fiberglass slivers when I touched it.
>third angel >what's up with Keith/Wreath >finding some way to help Gabby help more kids on the internet >more angels trapped in more old media >season to tie AH with the other West/East Patch content >demon hares >"new" angel hares found on DVDs and such >turns out Gabby's still broken somehow >whatever it is Jonah's going to do as "the man on the outside" >whatever that third show is
What is this?
An "analog horror" miniseries on Youtube. >Guy named Jonah finds old copy of a Christian cartoon he grew up with at a thrift store and watches it, realizing it's almost 100% different than what he remembers. >He remembers the show breaking the fourth wall constantly and the main character, Angel Gabby, helping him. >Specifically helping HIM. >He finds his old recordings of the show and compares them to the rerelease copies from the thrift store. >Completely different. >Jonah learns a lot about himself.
reguarding the "man on the outside" thing i think that just means that jonah helps gabby and crew adapt to the modern day and help more people.
basically, starting up wreath 2, though with a lot more livestreaming. i would love to see gabbys version of a fireside chat.
It’s actually perfect. Gabby is free to break the fourth wall as much as she wants, without risk of blowing her cover since modern audiences will just think she’s a Vtuber.

Gabby get's catcalled, hit on, strange comments when?
Tape 6 takes place on October 9, 2022, as shown by the computer's clock.
Gabby went missing the following Easter: April 9, 2023.
Will You Be There? was, out-of-universe, released in August 2023, and it ended with “I don’t know what’s going on… This September, will you help me?”
September? That's not even close to Easter. Now, you might say that I'm reading too much into a noncanon trailer, but..
In Case 6, at 2:37, you can see the computer's clock: October 8, 2023.
Go fricking figure.
rip gabby
Everyone in the livestream chat were fearful for the worst
Glad everything turned out good in the end
WHY IS THIS SO SWEET
It's not
It's demons tempting a violent manchild into a world of waifu delusions
I don't understand how they solved it but okay
Oh, so that was way more wholesome than I thought we were going, plus we know Zag's full name.
>Zagzagel
Oh, that explains some things.
On the OST upload a few days ago they pinned a comment saying "Goodbye to an old friend" and I feared the worst
Glad that things are still a happy ending
>Gabriel
>Zagzagel
Well it took 12 episodes but we got their real names spoken.
I can't believe it, Jonah got his autistic tulpa gf in the end
Gabby going commando is canon
What about Zag?
Looks like you got some detective work to do yourself anon
Zag seems to like to keep his secrets to himself
Jonah bros, we eating good
best ending
i fcking told you gays day 1
>NOOO JONAH IS GONNA GO CRAZY PSYCHO AND KILL EVERYBODY BECAUSE OF HIS WEIRD BREATHING AND THEN AND THEN HE GONNA SUICIDE LIVE ON STREAM TO FORCE GABBY TO STAY WITH HIM
edgy frickers
tbf, Jonah would basically be Chris-Chan tier if Gabby wasn't real
Is this how Chris-Chan sees the world? Interacting with his friends on the other side of the screen?
Pretty much.
I want her to step on my face.
Cute rabbit
*chair clattering*
I hope we get more rabbit Zag in the future, even if he prefers to be the detective.
His rabbit form shows up in the game, so I'm pretty certain they're just as in love with it as the fans.
I feel like this series is anti mascot horror, like the cute and friendly thing turns out to be all powerful, but still cute and friendly instead violent and creepy
I agree, but I think it’d be a good idea to introduce some malevolent force in the next season. So far there’s just been the abusive father.
>Say Jonah, would ya like ya meet our newest friend, Angel Abby?
Could be kino, but it they wanted a proper villain they might not want to make them into a cartoon rabbit since it would just make them seem cute.
I kinda like the idea that Abaddon would be an actual threating antagonist, but nobody takes him seriously when he's in that form due to him being too adorable.
making him photo realistic like picrel would actually make him pretty terrifying.
tried that prompt myself and got another pretty good one here
a little too complicated for angel hare though.
I'd like it more of Abaddon was banished to a different tape by gabby and that someone else found it before Jonah. Like someone else's POV of the angel hare stories
I don't know, I kinda like that there isn't some big threat or real antagonist going on, it's just the story of an angel protecting a child and him helping her when he gets older.
>he doesn't know
There won't be a next season.
from a business standpoint why dont they just milk angel hare? its their first and most sucessful idea yet
do they rly think the angel hare fans will stay for more kind world or west patch? they should capitalise as soon as possible before people lose interest again
>why dont they just milk angel hare?
They're selling goodies and shit. Not much else they can do when they already didn't know what to do with season 2.
>or west patch?
Well it's better than Angel Hare, so people should. Too bad they gave up on it.
west patch is under a pitch contract thats why its unlisted
theire still planning on finishing it
>thats why its unlisted
They still maintain a playlist with all the episodes so it seems a bit weird to me.
i dunno what their contract specified
maybe that it cannot be openly shown on youtube? i have no idea
i honestly doubt that. the fanale left a lot of room for a new season or even a new series. but we shall see.
>dubs confirm
the finale of the second season was just open-ended enough and resolved enough character arcs to not need more, the idea will be stretched too thin if they keep going.
Wow, finally, some originality.
What a shit ending
What? It was cute and wholesome, it was perfect.
>August 2023
>Episodes sit at 500 views
>2nd season ends
>Finale has 2k views in less than an hour
How the hell did they get so many views recently?
The first video has 38k views now
A big name youtuber played gabby's game.
ManlyBadassHero, it's how I found it - he highlights indie horror games and is fairly even-handed with judgment, and the game was clearly made with love and care, which made my roommate and myself dig into the whole series.
>ManlyBadassHero
Isn't he German?
Some stuff he's dropped about his background and history indicate that he MAY actually be Taiwanese on his family's side.
Is the background being Don Bluth’s Thumbelina relevant at all?
fricking nice, I really appreciate this not going full jonah bad, they handled this really well, right amount of closure and open ending
this has become one of the better internet series I've seen
The cynics were wrong, and Jonah DID get his happy ending.
Now the real question is, where'd he get his snazzy new cap from?
from wreath of life obv
Ah, yes, Wreath of Life. The company that doesn't exist on any public records, has all of their previous IPs and holdings owned by companies that have ceased to be, and even the angels themselves don't seem to know where they are.
I'm sure Jonah just walked up to their HQ and immediately got a job as a broadcast engineer for their internet branch.
He might've pilfered the cap though. The angels seem to be a bit loose with morals if it serves the greater good.
Obviously he made it.
wow he's just like me fr
>Becomes an agent of angels and Heaven with the power of autistic streaming
Wasnt expecting that
The fricker better not randomly delete all episodes for some bullshit reason.
Why do you think that would happen?
I got burned on Voihon.
I've already save them all just in case
While this episode did feel wholesome it also turned out to be a nothing burger of a finale. I was hoping Gabby's disappearance had something to do with Demon Hares or just deciding to leave without a goodbye to Jonah.
The price one has to pay for a good ending
Why is Zaggy so hot?
No
He's concerned that many people prefer him to be a rabbit
Cause animals are cute.
Jonah was also streaming Gabby for like, hundreds upon hundreds of hours, right?
I thought Jonah said they talked for hours at that time, I suppose that doesnt make a difference.
Those kids were you, anons.
Anon you were tearing her apaaaaart
Zag basically admits in this episode he doesn't really give a shit about the Internet. He probably doesn't even leave his detective show much, if at all usually.
>He probably doesn't even leave his detective show much, if at all usually.
I assumed the go back to going off to heaven when they aren't on the air, except Francis.
I assumed Francis was some sort of reformed alchemist, but I'm pretty sure he genuinely just chills in a kid's show 24/7 inbetween streams.
The way it’s framed makes me imagine that he has a giant tamers12345 ass just below frame
Who the frick was Zaggy talking about when he referenced Gabby having a guy on the outside before?
The WoL people probably.
Probably Phil Vischer.
The extremely rare happy ending. I didn't think we'd get it, but I'm glad we did.
It was also neat to see Francis finally talk directly to Jonah. I seems to have become fully self-aware, so I wonder how he'll factor into the new business.
Francis spinoff show where you get to follow him in his misadventures
>Edgy anti-religious cartoon that ends with pro-religion message
How often does this happen?
It was never anti-religious nor edgy.
The series was never anti-religious, Anon. The creator sisters are Christians, one of them talked about it during the stream tonight.
Such a heartwarming ending in a sea of samey analog horror shit it's rare to have something like this
We could have an overexposed flash of Gabby flying at the viewer for no reason. Thata how they usually end.
I'm glad it didn't go that way
You don't want Gabby jumping out of the screen so she can tacklehug you?
Crossover when
>Zag helps Garcia and John as a mysterious detective wandering around town
>Gabby smites both Malphas and Gary during the big battle
I dont know who those people are!
Gary is a normal human being, just like you and me.
You see, while a good ending is appreciated, isn't as fitting in this genre of horror but I'll let it fly because one has to be happy once in a while
Anon I'd rather have a good ending in an analog horror than the typical endings
>isn't as fitting in this genre of horror
I'm glad she went back to being a rabbit
very sweet.
What will happen now?
A third season may or may not come out an indeterminate amount of time in the future.
Merchandising!
>Zagzagel
Guess that confirms it.
I like how even Zag sounds offended that Jonah would throw away his friendship with Gabby.
I liked that too, nice to reaffirmation that zag is good just kinda a dick
Yeah, I get the feeling he's just old and excessively jaded and blunt. He's not cruel or intentionally mean, but has probably dealt with human stupidity enough to have grown weary of it.
Also:
>Gabby's seen some shit
just how much of the internet did she see? was this her garden of gethsemane moment? do I need to apologize for the "fanart" I've favorited of her?
She's definitely seen all of the raunchy porn that was made of her.
She has seen it all
I wish we had a full shot of her human noir form.
>Bunny nose
Cute! Also yeah Gabby, that's the internet for ya!
she saw how christcuckery and its cultural aftershocks have resulted in skyrocketing rates of male virginity and general sexlessness, combined with women going insane and collapsing birth rates.
>virginity rates have increased exponentially as society turned to atheism
>“chirstcuckery is responsible!”
there has to be a way for people to get pussy without being forced into marriage. that is a price that is absolutely not worth it. i blame the downfall of patriarchy and prostitution
Took me a sec to figure out what was up with her eyes during the whole glitch thing, they're reflections of tons of TV screens.
Does anybody remember the first threads?
>Jonah starts talking about keeping Gabby all to himself
>"Ah, frick, they're gonna have him leave Gabby and go the whole 'escapism bad' route, aren't they?"
>they don't
>he stays with Gabby as his guy on the outside
You frickers, I was ready to post Gosling
I was entirely prepared for him to have Gabby wipe his mind again have him move on, so I could post about how he'd just investigate his childhood again, I'm pleasantly surprised they're letting him stay with her and act as her man on the outside, whatever that entails.
Have to wonder what would happen if Jonah tried to watch the show on a VR headset. Would Gabby be able to come out of the show and virtually hug him?
Group hug with her, Zag, and Francis?
>Zag
>hugging
I'm not sure he even comprehends most physical contact.
He'd say no, then Gabby and/or Francis would coax him into doing it. Probably Gabby.
His "hug" would probably be a shoulder pat, then he'd walk off to sulk in the corner, or check his watch or something.
ngl season 2 as a whole was very mid and ive outright lost interest in the whole thing
season 1 was great and still is
maybe i just expected too much
That's something I was thinking of as season 2 went on, the tonal shift was definitely going to lose some people, specifically those looking for that creepier "whoa, what happened to Jonas's dad?
Pretty dead thread for being the last angel hare for a long time
people lost interest when they figured season 2 was gonna be shit
iam one of those people
>people lost interest when they figured season 2 was gonna be shit
How?
Like what? We already have too many "spooky kid show" horror.
>We already have too many "spooky kid show" horror.
Name five (5).
>Amanda the Adventurer
>Candle Cove
>Children Under the House
> PETSCOP
>Anything "Lost Episode"
>Amanda the Adventurer
That's a game.
>Candle Cove
Creepypasta turned tv show that's long over.
>Children Under the House
That's over.
>PETSCOP
That wasn't a "spooky kid show" but a "spooky PS1 game" and it's also long over.
Come on. Name five (5).
>That's a game.
So?
>Creepypasta turned tv show that's long over.
So?
>That's over.
So?
>That wasn't a "spooky kid show" but a "spooky PS1 game" and it's also long over.
So?
They are all "Kid thing turned spooky" it's not original. It's nice having something sweet for once.
personally I'm happy it ended on a happy tone than some cheap horror shit
Same. It's nice to have something that isn't to complicated and wholesome for a change.
It’s a happy note that is completely unearned and at the expense of everything that came before, you really are just a comfygay that cares about nothing else beyond that.
>you really are a [buzzword]
don't you have a ADC thread to shit up, horrorgay?
>buzzword
You admitted to caring about nothing else but happy vibes, comfygay describes you perfectly. Also eat shit for thinking everyone that isn’t happy with the second season is your pet autist. The creators listening to the vocal minority like you and their discord sycophants is what ruined this series.
not reading allat
just look at the tonal whiplash between season 1 and 2
all the story that gets built up in season 1 gets no pay off in season 2
and in a rewatch you can tell season 1 is alot better than 2
iam not asking for edgy shit to happen but atleast have pay off for the mysteries you built upon
season 2 was basicly a 4/10 compared to the 8/10 that was season 1
True, season 2 was so awful that it made season 1 look good in comparison
Anon, stop replying to him. You know exactly who it is.
>Like what? We already have too many "spooky kid show" horror.
Angel Hare should have been about some terrifying, incomprehensible being trying to protect a young boy from abusive parents. Like it's trying to be good but can't help be horrifying.
It's only 7:23 EST in The Americas. Give people some time to wake up.
Only the first threads did well, then people got bored and Horrorgay stopped making as many posts so there wasn't really much to dicuss about
Honestly the first few threads were really fun, we got a lot of OC and people throwing shit at each other
i know..i made one of the first threads
we fcking hit bump limit each time
imagine making a show so dissapointing that even the local schizo loses interest
i feel like this as a concept is worth so much more than whatever the 2 quirky tumblrinas shat out (figures because this isnt even their own character design)
you could genuinly make something great with this concept
>you could genuinly make something great with this concept
And that's the painful part, given how easy it would be.
>After Jonah gets weirded out by the differences between the official Angel Hare tapes and his personal recordings, he starts to realize she had something to do with his father going away
>Instead of the whole broadcasting thing, Jonah has Gabby speak to him while he's watching one of his personal recordings
>She can communicate to Jonah and Jonah alone through his recorded copies of the show, but for some reason he can't make new recordings that work the same way
>He has to ask her if she killed his father, she swears she didn't kill him or anyone else, which doesn't have good implications for Jonah
>When he asks her if he killed his own father, she just says "I thought we agreed you would be happier not remembering?"
>He starts to become convinced that she killed his father, or talked him into it
>Finally he can't take it anymore, and demands she tell him what happened
>She points him to the collection of records that's been collecting dust on his shelf, to a specific record
>on playing it, it unlocks his memories of what happened
>His father was involved with some really bad people, and got into debt with them
>Gabby had Jonah hide his fathers gun, then go over to a friends house before his father arrived home with some of those bad people
>His father was telling them he had the money, but was planning to shoot his way out
>Gun wasn't where he thought it would be, bad people got tired of waiting for the promised money and shoot him, then later on Jonah got picked up by the police and had the news broken to him
>so technically, they are both innocent and both guilty
>while mostly relieved, Jonah realizes there are a lot of other albums on that shelf collecting dust
>Gabby tells him to not try to remember too much at once
There, a far more interesting Season 1 and a lead-in for S2. It would be that easy.
So, that loading at the very end, third Agnel coming in next season then?
I thought it was their first assignment as a team.
What a wet fart of a series finale. Everything important was communicated to us through titlecards. Meh.
Here are the threads made when season 2 wasn't made yet
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/139078519
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/139125757
I'm gonna miss this bunny
so am I anon
I need more Zag fanart! There’s so little of it!
the FOTM is dead, woo!
>tfw there are 20-something manchildren obsessed with cartoon rabbits on the internet
>that are still pure enough to be friends with an angel
Why couldn't I stay pure for Gabby bros
She's too cute
Nice the series is getting more art
Wanna pet Gabs
Is that all?
Wanna do heavy petting with Gabs
I wanna pet her ears so bad
How would Gabby handle Gabriel and his alternates from Mandela Catalogue?
Only like two neighbors are gay, those being Frank and Eddie. And judging by Gabby and Zag, I don't think either would care.
80% of them are rainbow coded. And they are probably cultists, so yeah, they will go to hell.
And Jonah is going to super hell
I meant that most of them are canonly part of the LGBT
No. Too clear cut for his usual brand of bullshit.
TADC though? Oh, that's absolutely fricked.
>TADC
Who?
The Adventures of Dick and Cuckty
Never heard of it is it any good?
Yes, this is what it looks like
The Amazing Digital Circus, produced by the same guys who did Murder Drones - so you fricking know MatPat is already making a theory video on par with DRONE EUGENICS
Frick off moron, they actively ignored all the plot points and set up just to satisfy the moron waifugays who only cared about the cuteness of a couple of particular characters to begin with.
if it sucks so bad why cant we make our own like some snoot game shit?
bro i thought you hated this show and that it was troony discord propaganda
See
He's literally admitted to watching it solely to come into this thread then b***h about it.
what a gay
Why do you think everyone that has anything remotely critical to say is your pet autist?
because you type exactly like him, if you wanna falseflag as someone else then change your typing style
>gets correctly identified
>spergs out
*chuckles*
Now you're just embarrassing yourself.
oof
Didn't read. Continue your spergout, it's really convincing people you aren't the schizo.
All the rabbits derived from this are worthy of petting
Even her fanon mother
Cute
Indeed
Gabs
Cute and perfect.
That she is
Oh, you're just shitposting. My mistake engaging you.
Literally every single character is part of the alphabet mafia, the frick are you talking about?
>Literally every single character
Only Eddie and Frank are, and only in out-of-setting material.
Why do you lie? Off the top of my head the bird was confirmed to be a troony.l and I think the sun-headed one was non-binary as well as a bunch of them wearing gay flag shit.
>Off the top of my head the bird was confirmed to be a troony
I don't recall that, and if it was, then it's still out-of-setting material. It will never be mentioned or es tablished in the actual work, much like Eddie and Frank.
>l and I think the sun-headed one was non-binary as well
Sally is completely female - there's never been anything mentioned about her being anything else.
>as well as a bunch of them wearing gay flag shit.
Anon, those are normal colors. You associating them with flags is you being fricking poisoned by the internet culture war.
>out of setting
If it’s made by the creator and they say it’s canon it’s canon. Don’t twist yourself into a pretzel to try and ignore the troony in the room, the bird according to the creator is trans as well as all the other dumb identity shit for the other characters.
>those are just normal colors
Look it up, there’s multiple pics of them wearing blatantly gay flag themed outfits different from their normal designs.
>Anon, those are normal colors. You associating them with flags is you being fricking poisoned by the internet culture war.
Come on.
Also, the latest update implies that Frank is bi anyway.
>Also, the latest update implies that Frank is bi anyway.
Proof?
Wow, retconned already.
Anything Clown posts on their blog is subject to being directly retconned if it ever ends up on the website.
It's just Horrorgay being obnoxious and baiting people.
Probably because it's a more unconventional look. A lamb would get lost in all the samey designs used in vaguely Christian inspired media over the past few decades. That and people are moronic, so you might have gotten a ton of posts attacking them over using a lamb because of "satanic imagery" or some bullshit.
>you might have gotten a ton of posts attacking them over using a lamb because of "satanic imagery" or some bullshit.
What? They don’t even do anything remotely “satanic”
Yeah, but that wouldn't stop dumbasses. I've seen plenty of people associate lambs with "satanism" or b***h about certain media being "satanic" for having lambs in them - completely ignoring that lambs were used to symbolize Christ himself at one point.
Yup
I don't even know what this is but I wish this trend of "found media" where things are presented a some old as shit that turns out to be creepy or have deeper meaning, would just fricking end.
Will Matpat react to the series?
I hope not
>could Francis survive the corona virus?
Okay Tinybuild.
hope not
It'll probably have to be when he's out of things to do
Are you guys aware of this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMaFq-fuAuc
>Verification not required
Of course we know about it, you fricking dumbass
Yeah, we talked about it here. It was actually the first confirmation of demon hares being a thing beyond Francis calling TV's "demon hare boxes".
He was asked about demon hares in one of the fanmail episodes too, almost showing a picture of them. Heck, he made a joke during the credits about how jackalopes are demon hares, heh.
I don't know when the game was made, tho.
I wanted to see what gun the secretary uses.
I liked it better when this was an Angel Hare thread.
I wonder why rabbits were chosen as the Christian cartoon character, I think a lamb would have been better.
For the sake of the pun.
??
Ohh
Don't forget "angel hair" is also a thing, it's a weird fiberglass material that they'd use for decorative dolls sometimes. My grandma used to have a literal angel doll with literal angel hair on it and it constantly gave me fiberglass slivers when I touched it.
How bad would the twist it be if both zag and gabby were secretly demon hares?
Panty and Stocking already did that twist
Provide evidence.
Did you forget the ending where she just says she was a demon the whole time?
What is this?
Story about a boy and his angel rabbit
What's the chances that the cast get corrupted by internet?
Doubtful.
If there was a season three what would it been about?
Demon hare invasion and the mystery of the third angel.
>third angel
>what's up with Keith/Wreath
>finding some way to help Gabby help more kids on the internet
>more angels trapped in more old media
>season to tie AH with the other West/East Patch content
>demon hares
>"new" angel hares found on DVDs and such
>turns out Gabby's still broken somehow
>whatever it is Jonah's going to do as "the man on the outside"
>whatever that third show is
An "analog horror" miniseries on Youtube.
Jonah learned that he has a thing for rabbits
reguarding the "man on the outside" thing i think that just means that jonah helps gabby and crew adapt to the modern day and help more people.
basically, starting up wreath 2, though with a lot more livestreaming. i would love to see gabbys version of a fireside chat.
It’s actually perfect. Gabby is free to break the fourth wall as much as she wants, without risk of blowing her cover since modern audiences will just think she’s a Vtuber.
I hate how much sense Gabby as a Vtuber makes.
Why do you hate it?
I thought she send letters to the company.
When did it say she sent letters?
Tape 5 - Footage Not Found
@2:01 Pause the video, it pops up quickly a cease and desist letter.
The letters are sent from a publishing company, not the mother
She was trying to find out more about Angel Hare and got stopped for harassing employees about it
Jonah picks it up from where she left off if I'm seeing it correctly
Don't like Vtubers. Never really liked facecam streams either.
But I can't deny it's a perfect fit for Gabby.
Gabby get's catcalled, hit on, strange comments when?
But why?
Why is Francis a badger?
what else would he be?
Either an opossum or capybara of course.
Gabby confronts Andrew Tate while Zag interreacts with Chris Chan when?
Why Jonah didn't talk to her mom?
Jonah doesn't know Gabby's mom
I meant why isn't Jonah mom not interacting with him.
When he was a kid?
Probably a working parent
In the present?
He has a beard in the last episode so he probably just moved out
Didn't his mom hated both the show and the company?
Not sure where you got that
She kept all the stuff she got him from the show at her house
brown bnnuy never
Selaphiel
Francis before he became a badger.
If only.
cute
Tape 6 takes place on October 9, 2022, as shown by the computer's clock.
Gabby went missing the following Easter: April 9, 2023.
Will You Be There? was, out-of-universe, released in August 2023, and it ended with “I don’t know what’s going on… This September, will you help me?”
September? That's not even close to Easter. Now, you might say that I'm reading too much into a noncanon trailer, but..
In Case 6, at 2:37, you can see the computer's clock: October 8, 2023.
Go fricking figure.
Neat.
>gAyRG

Jonah teams up with demo hares when?

So does this mean you're going to stop spamming the shill threads?
What would have been reactions from the cast when they discover the internet?
