This has been speculated for years, but it’s real, they intentionally made the reboot shit because they didn’t like Animaniacs

Why do studios keep hiring people who hate the original series???? Wouldn't it be easier to just hire fans????
also yeah this series was bad so not even shocked
whats with the multiple question marks????
>Wouldn't it be easier to just hire fans????
but fans are talentless hacks who desperately latch on corporate products and call it their personality
I unfortunately can’t think of any recent tv or film remakes or reboots made by actual fans of the original property in recent times, but in vidya Baldurs Gate 3 was made by a bunch of extreme DnD and bg1/2 fanboys and it’s widely regarded as one of the best games to come out in years.
>Baldurs Gate 3
>widely regarded as one of the best games to come out in years
homosexualry aside, it's a real shame that an unfinished game that's still being patched is considered as one of the best games in recent years
Elden Ring came out last year
The problem is every simple mind finds a new THE BEST THING EVER!!! every month insteqd of realizing not everything they like is God's gift
the first act is solid, Larien needs to cut the bullshit and just put out first acts as good Lord they've failed three(!) times already making the other two
Fans are bad too
Listening to the fans has ruined a ton of modern shows
they're not Sega
Even Sega brought back surviving original staff.
Just not Yuji Naka because he's in prison.
I know Balan Wonderworld was bad, but I didn't think it was literally criminal.
Yuji Naka got arrested for inside trading, Naoto Ohshima however did nothing legally wrong and Sega give him back Sonic for NOT leaking info about Dragon Quest mobile games.
Rieko Kodama died in 2022 from a heart attack.
Hirokazu Yasuhara now works for Havok after years working for Nintendo Software Technologies.
Masato Nakamura is still doing pop music.
No idea about the remaining staff.

bluey is everything wrong with the animation industry
That’s a fine agreement we get find common ground on.
This entire show is just fricking annoying, close to peppa pig
It's nothing like Peppa Pig, if anything it's the first 2 series of Tensai Bakabon.
>Hey, dumb Millennial; we resurrected a thing you liked as a kid. Watch it and gib monies.
Isn't this exactly what happened to comics? They hired a bunch of people who hated comics? and now Manga is several orders of magnitude bigger than comics - in the fricking US itself.
Not for Archie Sonic. For that one they hired an autistic-level fanfiction maker who turned an absolute trash-fire of a comic into something halfway entertaining until legal issues forced a complete reboot. He's struggled ever since, but he clearly loved the comic and still does.
Reading comprehension issues there anon?
Say what you will, but SatAM/Archie Sonic existed precisely because fans loved Sonic and wanted more than the sparse plot and characterizations that existed at the time. Just like how the Star Wars books work to flesh out the universe, instead of just "More Adventures of Luke Skywalker".
I hope you're talking about Ian Flynn. Ken Penders hated the games and was using the lack of actual characterization of lore to publish the comic story he'd been pitching for years that no-one wanted to publish.
By my understanding they hated the OTHER characters that weren't Pink and the Brain.
I agree, Slappy had her moments but the rest of the cast was pure filler
are there any "creators" who love the og series/materials today except for that one piece director who didnt seem to be a big fan of one piece, couldve ruined it either but managed to be loyal to it by self gaslighting thanks to the og creator oda's help.
I swear, TTG was the foot in the door for the type of people who hatted comics to sneak their way into Western Animation.
The TTG writers may have had decent projects later on and grew to at the very least respect what came before eventually, but the damage that mentality has done to Animation is immeasurable.
That's the thing about modern cartoons. They're all so poorly drawn and written now, you don't even need to have skills of any kind in order to create them.
>I swear, TTG was the foot in the door for the type of people who hatted comics
It's a parody you moron
This is why studios are canceling negotiations. Everyone wants these frickers to starve to death now.
Is not true, just because you edit TV tropes with your schizo theory that Is not a source.
>is not true
I already don't trust you
Oh wow that makes so much sense! I thought it was just a pretty uninspired reboot but you're right, it makes WAY more sense for numerous people to torpedo their own careers and waste years of their life because they hold a grudge on a cartoon from 30 years ago.
This reboot isn't as bad as people paint it to be.
Trumpanzees have no saying in anything by the way.
I hate Trump.
Animaniacs 2020 wasn't funny.
>Trumpanzees have no saying in anything by the way.
Based on what? Your shitty immigration polices and racking up the nation's debt beyond anything we've currently seen?
Rent free
>According to an insider
Next you'll say, "IMDb and TV Tropes are reliable sources"
How did a single show frick up this bad? You had the easiest formula for success and did so terrible that this is the legacy of the show
Reboot showrunners who hate the original can talk all the mad shit they want, if they can actually outdo the original. In theory. I haven't seen it happen before.
Honestly, these people should not be rebooting successful shows. They ought to reboot failures with intriguing concepts, unrealized potential, or insurmountable limitations at the time. Reboot Loonatics Unleashed, there's almost no chance one can do worse... right?
Secret Squirrel is pretty much the only example of one that talked shit and did better
Only because the original Secret Squirrel was so mind-numbingly lame that the only thing it itself is rememebered for is Harvey Birdman interpreting him as a flasher.
2 Stupid Dogs will like to have a word with you.
Not cartoons, but Wolfman and Perez's New Teen Titans is basically that. The original Teen Titans from like the 50s or whenever was basically erased from history because the New (80s) run was so much better.
>Acoording
Daily remainder that OP is a Chris-chan level autist who's been trying to push this lie here for months.
>Animaniacs 2020 staff hated the original Animaniacs
GEE! I couldn't tell from the writing of the reboot and their hate "jokes" for the majority of the original show's characters casting (even Slappy Squirrel).
>Latoso01, the one doing the tv tropes edits is also obsessed with Slappy Squirrel
Not even subtle.
>according to an insider
>tv tropes
They hated the original staff too, forced them to do this instead of giving them their baby back.
>Japan and South Korea hate each other's guts, If Japan could they will put South Korea on the same shit list as NORTH Korea and South Korea's anti-Japanese products law will still be in effect today, Wellesley Wild just wanted to have TMS suffer.
have a nice day
HEY MOOOOOOODS FAMICOM IS BAN EVADING AGAIN
Sad!

I don't believe this article but I think the practice is done because actual fans would push back against studio heads and demand stuff. Hiring a bunch of cynical danger-haired career climbers without any affinity is much easier for producers who want to mandate bad ideas and have someone to blame if things go badly.
It’s a combination of this and brain dead executives thinking people that hate the original property will make something more appealing to people who also aren’t fans of the original, while also expecting the OG fans to gobble up anything with the name anyways.
I don't have to believe this article. Past history and the content itself indicates as much. But you're right, it's probably harder to get a genuine fan to subvert the show the way the executives want, so most of the appropriate talent would already be self-culled. The mindset of the executives themselves can be explained away with trend-chasing, and never having had any respect for any property in the first place. Nothing is sacred.
Then again who didn't? Even Cinemaphile's darling, John K, had nothing good to say about it
Normies loved Animaniacs and if it was up to them Animaniacs would of lasted for many years instead of Detective Conan.
These posts... TASTE like Famicom
I find it hard to believe Katie Rice wasn't on board with the original. I dunno. All seems fishy.
She wasn't, she only did Animaniacs'2020 to destroy Atsuko Tanaka's (who was a director on the original) career.
I wish mods would ban you again. What the frick is wrong with you
Oh, you're moronic.
No.
