Are we seriously supposed to believe a group of women could actually get anything done?

well they dont get anything done
what are you on about?
They took down the Shimmer.
no they didn't
I remember when I was 14 and edgy too OP
>t.15
Fantastic movie. And don't fricking do the whole "le woman so bad" shit. This movie came out around that all female ghostbusters flick and I was surprised the basically all female cast wasn't a major selling point in the trailers or on social media for this film. Mad respect to the people in the marketing team for that.
simp
The acting was terrible though. Great concept and music, it was let down by terrible women actors. Jennifer Jason Leigh sounded like she didn't even want to be there while filming.
The novel Annihilation is a copy and paste of Roadside Picnic.
The sequel Authority is a copy and paste of Snail On The Slope.
I have no idea how people get away with these things.
Yeah the "shimmer" is basically the "zone" from roadside picnic and stalker. They could have made a movie out of roadside picnic instead since all the adaptions are currently different from the source
>Jennifer Jason Leigh sounded like she didn't even want to be there
Her character had given up on life. Would you prefer she be more bubbly and energetic?
That was for a reason, genius.
when they want BBC, they get it done!
How about you stop being a sexist frick and go leave. We are not too kind to poltards around these parts.
here's some heckin reddit gold my heckin pogchaperino you really showed that chud
garbage movie even if it was an all male cast
Everything Tessa Tompson touches, turns to grade-A shit. Also the book was trash.
1: Yes. 2: They don't get anything done anyway.
this movie is corny. idk why modern directors like Alex Garland can’t help but inject all this self-aware insincere pseudo intellectual shit into their work instead of just committing to the fiction they’re creating. I did like parts of this movie tho, the body horror is great, the found footage part with the men was fricking hilarious and a funny contrast between how the women reacted to what happens in the bubble (aka they each confront it in their own personal, individual way) vs the men (get together and hype each other up and literally experiment by cutting a dude open)
A group of men had already died. So why not?
Didn’t they send like 10 all male teams first?
A nice SCP movie
they didn't
A group of scientists, chud.
In the book they send several groups of only men and men and women and all fail, this is why they choose to send only women to see what happens.
Being woke is about lying to yourself. Time to get on board or be left behind.
They got literally nothing done.
Why did it disappear right after Natalie Portman left then?
Meant to reply to
Portman was annihilated and the shimmer was her the whole time
I thought it was dope when the guy committed sucide with a phosphorus grenade
Get fricked, OP. They successfully made a movie with female empowerment without talking down to the audience.
I don't remember much about this movie, but I remember the women being incompetent
