I listened to a clip on youtube and it was just Howard complaining about his staff for 1 hour and threatening to fire his sound guy, and then 10 minutes of him talking about some reality tv show him and his wife were watching.
He made his career by saying all the extreme things that you aren't supposed to say on air. He's a shock jock. And now that's he's made it, his new thing is to condemn hate speech and being mean and you should also get 5 covid shots. He hasn't left his house since the pandemic started, he does the show from his house.
What is the point of being some cringe New Yorker if you are holed up in your mansion 10 miles away from the city? Isn't their whole personality based on "the hustle and bustle of the city" ?
