No, both actresses don't know how to make good moves with the lightsaber, and Filoni has a problem as a director, Star Wars is a fantasy universe and Filoni is making the Jedis fight like normal people, it's very boring to see Ahsoka in live action because Filoni doesn't know how to make her fights fun, maybe because Filoni didn't grow up watching Kung Fu movies he doesn't know where to put the camera and develop a good choreography and make the fight look fantastic with the Jedi using their powers and to make the scenes even worse he uses the MCU style with lots of cuts, Rosario Dawson doesn't know how to do some fun moves with the lightsaber and that's is unforgivable, Dawson fights for this role and doesn't do the basics, she doesn't have any lightsaber skills and I don't understand why Rosario Dawson has that Mona Lisa smile all the time, just like Bo-Katan they both carry a lot of sadness from their pasts

This had to matter. I'm not sure when people last watched the prequels, and especially Phantom Menace. Here these actors, many of them who had and would later give great performances in other movies, and they were all giving the worst performances of their careers. There were awkward lines and performances in the OT, but nothing approaching the sheer audacity of the PT.

I actually think there is one, and if we're going off of thematics, I'm sure an argument could be made that droids are capable of being alive just as much as people of flesh. Of course, the real answer is that they probably wanted to cut down on the budget for what was already a very CGI intense episode, although it should be noted that we don't see droids, but we see supercommandos on Mandalore. Or maybe there is no thematics, since the force also seems to contain LAAT's.

No it doesn't. Only those who know how to preserve their consciousness (The Force Priestess, Qui-gon, Yoda, Obi-wan and Anakin) reside within the cosmic force. For everyone else, their souls are basically mulched and recycled and spread throughout the universe to feed the midichlorians so that they can create new life. They explain this in TCW season 7. There is no such thing as the afterlife in Star Wars.
The live action shows only prove Filoni is a hack and that TCW was only good because of Lucas and other people who worked on it and not Filoni.

There has been no Time Travel in this series. Those were more flashbacks than anything. It could be argued that somehow it kind-of was time traveling, but its treated more like a vision where she has to face the training she received, and how she is training others.

It mildly bothered me that along with all the cryptic force ghost teaching shit, he and Ahsoka didn't have any kind of meaningful heart-to-heart moments where Ahsoka could actually talk to not-Vader Anakin while at this point in her life.
Which further extends to the fact we'll never see Force ghost Anakin have any meaningful conversations with Luke or Leia either.

Every conversation I've seen in Ahsoka has been fucking boring. Like, shot reverse shot conversations with this weird pause where you could count the seconds before the camera cuts to the next speaker after a line is delivered, even if its one word like "Ok".
It feels like an AI handled the cinematography, dialogue, camera work and actor direction. Even Sabine is boring, flat, and wooden when she's supposed to be at least more energetic then Ahsoka doing her best Qui-Gon impression.
Nobody emotes in this show beyond wry smiles and the occasional raised eyebrow. The cartoons had a lot of dialogue but it was always, you know, animated to be engaging or happening over some antics in the ship or interesting camera cuts to subjects of the conversation. Ahsoka feels like it was put together by cosplayers and fans with no industry experience at all.
Filonifags are slopping this up but in reality it's their punishment.

Not especially, but I don't think it translating an animated show to live-action was that critical to the episode. Conveying a sense of time and forward movement was, and the episode did that well enough with a coherent thematic thread.
I think the prequels are shit by the way, so it's not like having Hayden Christensen show up swayed me. I don't even like him showing up in ROTJ. But if you're on board with the show so far I can't imagine this episode getting you to bail on it. I think it did what it needed to with Filoni's usual brand of excess.

I think its solid. I didnt have faith Filoni could put something together this competently. However, I do not think its perfection, it certainly has its issues. The dialog is poorly paced and there are some dumb details here and there. There are also a couple of Filoni over the top things that I think could have been done a different way, but its still solid. I think its good, not GREAT, but good for sure. Its better than all the other live action SW stuff we've gotten (and yes, I recognize thats a low bar).

I'm seeing a lot of people saying that the episode was just fanservice (well, it was ALSO fanservice), saying stuff like Anakin was there for no reason, the flashes where he turns into Vader were useless and all that stuff, and like, I don't get it, do people actually watch this stuff without using their brain? The reason why all that stuff happened seems pretty clear to me
I thought it was her coming to terms with the fact that she was raised and trained like a soldier because they were at war and ended up instilling that same mentality on Sabine during a time of -seemingly- galactic peace.
