how does it feel to be schizoid? and what made you want to get cured in the first place?

        >how does it feel to be schizoid?
like being a derealized spectator of life with no desires except for peace, google symptoms to get the gist of it
        >what made you want to get cured in the first place?
avolition is the one thing, I'm actually fine with who I am otherwise, but being unable to start activities is a problem when the world demands you act

          >google symptoms to get the gist of it
I did and it fit too much, specially the part about being avoidant and oniric grasp of reality
kinda scary tbh, I don't want to be mentally ill

            Anonymous

careful though, there's big overlaps with other disorders as well, particularly avoidant

A bit of unsolicited advice for you, anon. It’s okay to be mentally ill, and a diagnosis can be a good thing. Here’s my thought experiment.
            >Be Neurotypical
            >Have problems
            >There’s nothing I can do about it
            >That’s just who I am
            >Finding a solution, if it exists, is difficult
            >Likely stuck like this forever
            >Life doesn’t improve

            Compare that to…
            >Be mentally ill
            >Have problems
            >Get a diagnosis
            >Learn that my problems are widely researched
            >Discover that my problems have potential solutions
            >These solutions are well-documented
            >These solutions are within reach
            >Enact specific lifestyle changes
            >Find a good therapist
            >Maybe (cautiously) start medication
            >A lot of my problems are gone
            >The rest of my problems are manageable
            >Life is greatly improved
If you’re suffering, and have mental illness at the root of it, you have a LOT of upward mobility.

Not what I’m saying, although I did exaggerate for demonstrative purposes. I’m saying if your live is shitty, but you discover you’re mentally ill, you have a number of very well-defined paths to achieve a serious degree of improvement. It may not fix everything, but it’ll definitely fix some things. But if your life is shitty and you’re NOT mentally ill, then good luck figuring it out yourself.

The Shining always struck me as a pretentious pile of shit. Then I googled Kubrick’s early life and found out he’s a Romanian israelite and has been divorced multiple times. He always looks like a freak. Why the frick does anybody watch Kubrick again? Full Metal Jacket was good but I enjoyed that at face value, I didn’t give a shit about any of his homosexualy themes and motifs. 2001 Space Odyssey was also utter shit. Anyway the reason I bring this up is because it’s always sociopathic israelites that enjoy making these films about insanity and mental illness.

That is very possible, you should stop. It can cause latent schizophrenia to develop early.
