Man they were both so good i can't even pick. I liked the story of Hearts and stone much better but the atmosphere of blood and wine was a once in a lifetime experience.
Doesn't exist. Video games have long surpassed movies in terms of storytelling and movies as a medium have completely stagnated. They have the technology to make shots of CGI cities but they still don't know how to use the CGI to properly complement live action acting or how to use it to facilitate the story, with the appropriate and sufficient camera shots and sufficient repeated visits to locations to make them feel familiar, lived in, or immersive to the audience. In the end part of it is just the limitation of movies in general. In a 1-2 hour duration you'd likely only have one scene in most of the settings and you wouldn't bother laying out the settings faithfully with stuff visible in the distance in the background so people watching really get a sense of location, where they are in the city, etc. And unless you had a tight script, you won't be able to revisit locations except with the audience now armed with contextual information they got from the initial scenes set there.
Why can't those stupid pollacks shit out the "next gen" update already? It's been over a year, fricking hell. All people really want is ray tracing. It took hitman's IO less than year to roll out raytracing and they're a significantly smaller studio.
