Anybody see the screening for Genndys FIXED?

Yesterday there was a WIP screening for Genndy’s upcoming R-rated, 2D animated comedy “FIXED” in Burbank that is being made by Sony Pictures Animation for New Line Cinema. The movie is, as Genndy described it, a “character comedy” about a dog who finds out he’s getting neutered in the morning and decided to spend one last night out with his buddies.

Genndy has been honestly hyping the movie up in his interviews about Primal and that the animation is turning out great and they’re hoping to release it next year, but I didn’t expect a test screening of any kind to happen. Anyone manage to see it?

I want his balls to rub and hit my face so badly.

If this was just played like a two stupid dogs episode, it would rule. But it won't be.

I just really hope it's not as shit as it sounds.

I actually hope it's really awful. This seems like it could be the next Foodfight..

        >Foodfight
No chance. Even if you ignore the writing and characters, that movie has some of the worst animation to ever stain the screen.

This movie is very unfinished and mostly storyboards but it will not look even close to good. Not worse than Foodfight but it’s a hideous film

I love Gendy but that premise is genuinely fricking awful. I hope Sony doesn't execute him when this inevitably flops

You don't think mainstream audiences are ready for dog balls?

New Line/Warner is paying the bill

Genndy is already exclusive at WB. I was surprised to hear this film was Sony.

The exclusivity is for TV shows, not feature films.

That image confuses me. It looks CG but the movie's supposed to be 2D. Is it an outdated character design?

Also, have they released any footage or promotional stills? I've only seen this image and the one in the OP.

Yeah it's early pitch art. It's being done in 2D at Sony and Renegade Animation.

I think Genndy brought it to New Line and SPA had interest after he did

a post on Cinemaphile claims it's full of dog sex scenes, including on-screen cumming. is it true?

Unfortunately yes. It’s not funny or good at all though.

The worst thing on Genndy's portfolio that he was in charge of writing and/or direction are the Hotel Transylvania movies, and 2-4 are just bland movies.
So Fixed at worse will be bland too. Barely anything to throw a hoopla about.

I’ll be frank and say that the only 90s cartoon to make me audibly laugh was the Tingblad Johnny Bravo. Craig, Genndy and Rudish have never made me actually laugh out loud.
