Absolutely. I hated it when it appeared in the comics and I purposely avoided any series that had the pairing, back when I read comics.
Partly because I'm a Gambit fan and I just want the pair to be in love, but even aside from that, the massive age gap, the history of his actions, and just the fact that they really have nothing going on with their personalities that make it work. It was purely for shock value.
It at least made more sense in the comics, when they were trapped in the Savage Land together and it was more of a "heat of the moment" situation. Doing it now just makes Rogue seem extremely flighty.
I feel the same way about the majority of the character arcs they're adapting for '97. They made sense in their original context, but doing them now after adapting stories that took place after those arcs, with the characters at much different points of development makes it noticeably out of place.
Charles “dying” and going into space to recover, Magneto dying, and Cable’s birth all happened around the same time in 616 too. “Clearly referring to AoA” my ass, the trial of Magneto is straight up a Claremont story.
Most normal people do. Autistic trannies with daddy issues keep pushing that trash
Is OK gambit, you're not the only x-men getting cucked, that happens to wolverine on the regular
It's literally one of the most hated xmen pairings
I'm more offended by the NERFED ASS.
what are the other contenders? Beak? Douglock?
If they go that way, I will withdraw 70 percent of my objections.
What exactly is picrel's mutation except for being one-eyed?
She has enhanced senses and is a just a tiny bit more faster/stronger than a regular human
Her powers are also apparently supposed to make her horrendously ugly, which, yeah, she aint a 10 outta 10, but shes far from being an eyesore.

>Charles is dead
>Magneto becomes the leader of the x-Men
>Magneto x Rogue
>Cable is born
Bros....is this the Age of Apocalypse timeline?
Well at least that explains why Bishop is there.
How long before Quicksilver shows up?
Morph is in his AoA design as well
their*
Oh, boy. Can't wait to see how they introduce Holocaust.
i hope so, but i really don't think Disney has the balls to depict global Apocalypse genocide
This is literally all stuff that happened in 616 in the 80s and 90s before AoA. Have you people not read the Claremont run?
Yes but it’s also explicitly doing all of that simultaneously, ie clearly referring to AoA where those parts were the status quo
Charles “dying” and going into space to recover, Magneto dying, and Cable’s birth all happened around the same time in 616 too. “Clearly referring to AoA” my ass, the trial of Magneto is straight up a Claremont story.
Meant Magneto taking over, not dying.
Yes it is weird that Rogue wants to have sex with an elderly global terrorist
Remember that time in Secret Wars where Magneto put the moves on Wasp?
What with X-Men and weird age gaps?
What's happening? Are they pulling the old Rogue is willing to hook up with anyone and anything that can touch her?
You know what I find disgusting? That costume with the M on it, what a pile of dog shit.
Imagine fricking a man literally older than Joe Biden
Rogue is a fricking bawd and has repeatedly gone through the male X-Men roster like a wildfire.
