So many CG films that are more charming and enjoyable than Shrek 2, yet people chose to ignore them in favor of fucking Shrek 2.

What I liked in this movie is the perfect mockumentary thing. Like, you see the "athletes" acting like real athletes and not sure how to talk, looking at the camera and then avoiding it. I love little details like this.
The mockumentary bits are really well done.
