Worst criticisms when they came out was that they were too cheesy, which is a fair judgement. They are pretty cheesy, and you can't really argue that they aren't. But it is true to the source material which means they're pretty fun watches.
They're objectively awful movies with some very exaggerated characterizations (Shaggy would NEVER consider abandoning his friends) but I still think it's peak Gunn comedy
>RotTMNT introduces black ugly April >Mutant Mayhem continues the downward spiral with fat old black ugly April >Apologize to RotTMNT!
>Scooby Doo movies introduce degeneracy and excessive irony to the franchise, try to turn Velma into a lesbian, joke about Shaggy being a stoner >Velma show ramps up degeneracy and excessuve irony, successfully makes Velma a lesbian as well as black, makes drug jokes abiut Shaggy >Apologize to the Scooby Doo movies!
THE SHIT YOU LIKED WAS JUST THE ROT SETTING IN. THE SHIT YOU NOW HATE IS THE RESULT OF THAT ROT.
Velma has a boyfriend in the 2nd movie. Any lesbian undertones Gunn wanted to have in the movie never made the cut so quit whining about it. You're getting mad at something that never happened.
>Old Man Wickles! >Leave me alone >I just wanted to say thank you. Your portrayal of the Black Knight Ghost was inspirational to my brother and me. Have you done anything cool and creepy lately? >Listen, I’m not normally one for giving advice, but I feel sorry for you because of your brother’s hideous nose deformity. Get out of this game while you got a chance. All of us here ain’t nothing to admire. We needed people to believe we were different than we were. Maybe because we believed... that there was something wrong with who we were in the first place
Second one has its moments
the timing and wording of your post make me think that you think just because Velma, an even worse show, came out, this makes a mad movie now good?
Are you really that fricking moronic?
For what? I've always thought they were fun films.
>sequel is better than the first
Few such cases.
Did anyone hate them?
Not really, no.
The first movie is a classic, timeless.
I liked the first movie, the others were meh

Never liked the photorealistic Scooby Doo (and worse still Scrappy) but the rest of the cast is on point
The first movie is the most 2000s thing ever.
They're objectively awful movies with some very exaggerated characterizations (Shaggy would NEVER consider abandoning his friends) but I still think it's peak Gunn comedy
They're objectively masterpieces.
SM3 is trash
this
Wrong. Kys.
More like subjective
Why? I always liked the films, especially the second one.
Wasn't there a third movie planned that never took off?

*I meant makes Velma Indian, not black.

Velma tried to frick a guy in the 1st movie and has a boyfriend in the 2nd
>introduces black ugly April
She was waaaaaay better than 2012's Mary Sue April. Probably the top 3 along side original yellow suit and 90s
moron.
i watched the first one dozens of times as a kid, didn't know they made a sequel

You can't get more 2003/2004 than this.
Shame they didn't make a third theatrical film. Monsters Unleashed did less money than expected.
Those movies are actually good. Wtf do you mean?
Redpill me on the second one, they only showed the first one on tv for me
The 1st one is more of a parody of scooby doo, the 2nd 1 is more of an adaptation
I had both on VHS.
Hmm yeah good movies.
>I think the Scooby-Doo movies suck!
They're objectively awful movies
The second one is a masterpiece and nothing you say can change that
Awful
they were always kino

The first movie is so much better, you guys are on crack.
Never.
They 've always been a guilty pleasure of mine. Even now the cotton candy monster scene never fails to make me chuckles
I never betrayed them though.
In my friend group I’m known as “The guy who really likes Scooby-Doo 2002”
So no, I won’t apologize. I wish we got 6 more. #releasethepg-13cut
