It's such a sadness. Get real.
I stream movies on my PS5. Don't have to hook anything else up to the TV, don't have to cast from my laptop, no viruses, quickly close any popups using the controller, it's hooked directly into the modem so it's faster than running off wifi, etc.
If it's an older or more obscure movie I'll torrent it but for modern movies or shows the convenience is great.

I don't own a desktop, I have a laptop that I use for work so it's moving around daily, sometimes I leave it in the office, etc. When I use favmovies I don't get any pop ups at all so it's not even a big deal. I may watch 4 or 5 movies a week so the setup works well enough for now
