When it comes to tv shows, you're better off watching anime. Movies are different, there's a lot of good live action jap movies but tv shows? It doesn't seem so, i've rarely if ever heard praise for a live action, scripted, jap tv show and i'm guessing primarily because most jap tv shows just try to mimic anime which just ends up being super moronic with live people
