The last good MCU movie was Infinity War. Endgame was a trainwreck and if you didn't lose all hope after that, any present and future disappointment is on you. The only good casting choice in all the stuff released since then was Owen Wilson in the Loki series, and even then is a far cry from what the character is both supposed to look and sound like.
Hailee Steinfeld is cute, pretty, bubbly, and magnetic, and I like her and enjoyed the series because of her (because honestly, who cares about Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye or even Hawkeye in general who has been a wet noodle outside of Old Man Logan), and would gladly impregnate her over a dozen times and enjoy listening to her singing lullabies to our children while I post dubious pictures of us in Cinemaphile to make anons seethe... but she's nothing like Kate Bishop regarding looks or personality. You're conflating casting choices you (we) enjoyed with good casting choices.
I like Oscar Isaac, but he was a terrible Marc Spector (in all his "forms"), which I agree wasn't his fault, he did what he could with what he was given. Coincidentally

would have been a great casting choice because he has the right tone of voice and can pull the right degree of neurotic whereas Isaac comes as wimpy or melancholic... but he isn't a marketing draw at all in comparison. Same with Ethan Hawke as Harrow, who was a bitter, resentful mega ginger while the former portrayed him with a zen-like disposition... but, he was a one-off character so "who the hell cares".
