I wish they'd make a two seasons miniseries adaptation of Patrick O'Brian's The Golden Ocean and The Unknown Shore. They're about George Anson's voyage around the world and each books follow the crew of a ship, where each crew have a very different adventure filled with hardship. The part where the ship crewed by a handful of people still strong enough despite suffering from scurvy has to keep tacking to try and reach the island that's just within reach but keep getting blown away by the contrary wind would be so fricking kino, and so would the mutinies and jungle escapades.

They're about George Anson's voyage around the world and each books follow the crew of a ship, where each crew have a very different adventure filled with hardship. The part where the ship crewed by a handful of people still strong enough despite suffering from scurvy has to keep tacking to try and reach the island that's just within reach but keep getting blown away by the contrary wind would be so fricking kino, and so would the mutinies and jungle escapades.
