Show is really great, but the move from Vancouver to LA really hurt the comfy aesthetic of the show (always rainy and cloudy vs always sunny). This started in season 6 though season 6 is still solid, Season 7 is kinda shit imo. And I don't even bother with the post Mulder episodes (Scully magic baby, super soldiers)
Some of the monster of the weeks int hr episodes with agent t-1000 are pretty solid.

Ehhhh. Those pics are similar, but Silence of the Lambs wasn't the first "cop goes to some experts outside the normal law enforcement channels" idea. The Lone Gunman were pretty much extreme versions of Mulder who had CIA level equipment. The Silence of the Lambs guys were just insect experts and the killer Clarice was tracking put insects in his victims bodies.

Yes. It's kino tv and one of the greatest shows of all time. Most cop shows bore me to tears, but I will rewatch the X-Files for the rest of my life.

The absolute worst episode is the one that Anderson wrote and directed. It turned Scully into some Buddhist that believed in crystal healing. Clearly this is what Anderson believed and she had no problem wrecking the very Catholic and scientific Scully.

Scully not believing Mulder and keeping him in check makes sense but there's no reason why he's so dismissive when Scully has a religious supernatural experience when he believes the most insane things
Yeah it's weird, in the earlier episodes he isn't as dismissive about Christianity but i guess they made that decision later on around s3 to get that dynamic between them.
I think it makes sense that Mulder d dismiss things related to faith, because parapsychology and aliens are not compatible with faith.
