All the avatars (mix of human + na'nvi DNA) have 5 fingers per hand. Some of Jake's and Neytiri's kids have 4, others 5.
the humans in navi form have 5 fingers, the native navi have 4 fingers. also in the new trailer youll see that the human avatar clones whatever you call them have eyebrows and different colored eyes unlike the native navi.
it's so they don't get mixed up with the na'vi so the humans don't accidentally kill one of their own (which is pretty stupid seeing they're like 100 years into the future and aren't capable of simply implementing some kind of tracking device/system to know where and who the friendlies are at all times, as having 5 fingers only makes the na'vi less welcoming of you, defeating the purpose of your stay)

IMO Warcraft and The Hobbit prove that campy fantasy doesn't mix well with serious story.
You need to choose between the two, and I think Hollywood has figured out that if you're going for campy fantasy it is easier to make something animated for the really fantastical elements. Warcraft wanted to keep an aesthetic that just doesn't translate well to the film/tv screen.

It wasn't the animals or most of the fauna for me, but the landscapes. The landscapes (floating islands reminiscent of that mountain range in China) blew my mind. The vines that spanned islands you could climb across were so cool to me.

I'd hate to be Norm's actor. They hired him as 'generic nerd guy to be stepped on', cut most good scenes of him and just left in the ones where's he's seething and jealous of chad.
