Can't decide whether or not the film is weakened by not knowing what was in the box or if the ambiguity made it more powerful. Great movie, one of my favorites
Why is wrath a sin? Didn't god do that all the time? He even mentions not feeling sorry for the people in Sodom & Gomorrah, didn't god get all wrathful on their asses?
I watched this last week with no memory of my original watch. Some thoughts >Black guy is smart white guy is a moron
You all get upset about this but it was fine then for some reason? >Smart guy listens to classical music meme
There was a cringe scene (Somerset in the Library) of this but they weirdly had someone else 'randomly decide' to put the music on? Trying to make it less heavy handed but just calling attention to it in face >RAINCITY always rains RAIN LIKE RIVER rain like tsunami rain rain
But then you drive an hour out of the city and it's the desert that was gay. I don't care if it's intended for some symbolism, that would be even worse.
and not Cinemaphile but funny to think of that moronic bastard David Cage watching the movie and thinking to himself "Boy zees is some Heavy Rain...wait a minute, zhat's brilliant". At least Seven had the decency not to disparage any real place by labelling their shitfricked city as it, Cage didn't have that class
>WASINAO BACHS
who the frick was this character? I dont think they were mentioned once until this scene
Oh….he didn’t know
>David...if you kill him...he will die...
What diddy kong by this?
AFLONG AFLONG KONG
that Somerset was the real killer; John Doe was just a patsy

Obviously Gwinnie's head.
Never shown
Not sure, I think that's why it's a powerful ending
What else could it have been to have Morgan Freeman act like that?
What else could it have been to make John Doe become jealousy?
>ambiguity
what the frick
What ambiguity
why the FRICK would the guy be mad if it isn't his fricking wife
producers wanted to put his dog's head instead
Justin Trudeaus favorite movie
No but seriously what was in the box?
sneed
Chocolates
It's never explained
god
ipad
Gloop.
a small loan of a million dollars
another smaller box
a hole
A picture from the future of all his adopted kids.
>finchershit
Was this the first “seven deadly sins” as a trope?
I see it all the time, especially in anime and video games nowadays. It’s a pretty easy to make formula but extremely played out
the film came out in 1995. Probably the first 'hollywood blockbuster' to use it
why is Cinemaphile so stupid
low IQ hobby

bad for human ok for god.
It’s one of those “fine for god(s), not for humans” things.
wrath for thee but not for me
Make no mistake. That wasn't wrath God was after. It's a reckoning.
It's good for choosen people, not goys like you for you is turning the other cheek.
Ending would've been better if Somerset had shot Doe.

I liked how this movie felt like a comic book. Didn’t care for anything else
Decent premise, terrible everything else.
Brad Pitt in this movie has a very similar style to Max Payne, I wonder if he was an inspiration
Gringo Benicio Del Toro
