B-but where's the deep psychological horror? Where's the slowburn? Why isn't this movie targeted towards zoomers who actually like the property not pleasing ME, a rotting boomer corpse? WILLY'S WONDERLAND, SAVE MEEEEEEEE

you're joking but I'm genuinely laughing over the number of middle-aged millennials sperging that a movie for high schoolers isn't meant for them and watching the existential crisis of them grappling with getting older

seems like it was more for 10 year olds than highschoolers

This movie was made for tweens and children.

The first fnaf released a decade ago. If they were actual children when it released then yes they're high schoolers if not in college now.

Millennials are like 40 and they still want to pretend they're in high school, it's fucking sad.

i respect it wholeheartedly. the idea that some people are malding over the fact the movie has "too much lore" shows they have a fundamental misunderstanding of the franchise. i am much more captivated by the concept of a girl talking to ghosts and the custody battle over her more than a lazy jumpscare marathon.

Millennial here. Not huge on fnaf, I just watched a playthrough of the first game but I can appreciate it for the modern lore/theory scene it helped produce. I can't appreciate it for the retarded knockoffs however (Poppy's Playtime)

Because it is manufactured for the target audience. If you want deep psychological thriller, then read the wiki and imagine your own horror stories up about the universe.

I'm just going to say it needed phone guy. Honestly him or his tapes are in the sequel/prequel. That is all.

I feel like the security dude that gets killed at the start but inadvertently makes it so the new guy has a chance was meant to be phone guy

Maybe. But phone guy is usually voiced by Scott. Not saying a actual actor shouldn't be used but phone guy usually leaves phone audio tapes for the player which that guard didn't.

I didn't hate it, but I would have done it differently
Remove the entire subplot with the sister, no one gives a fuck about that ABC drama plot. It should be more like the concept of the first game, guy hired at an old abandoned chuck e cheese type place where the animatronics come to life.
Don't go so hard in the lore shit, keep it subtle and in the background
Cut down on the runtime and just make it a tight 90 minute film, it feels very bloated

Would you still have William in the film?

Yeah, it was fine for a twist and to have a central villain. Would have cut his daughter though and made him be Mike's main liaison for the place though

      Piper Rubio carried the movie.
