Did you even read what he said? He's saying that those who think it's about MEN all being bad are idiots. That doesn't invalidate your statement at all.
Wonder if this homosexual would defend the movies "Blacks", "Gays" or "Women" similarly
Of course not, because those movies would never ever be allowed to be named like that in the first place
>Wonder if this homosexual would defend the movies "Blacks", "Gays" or "Women" similarly >Of course not, because those movies would never ever be allowed to be named like that in the first place
>is there a single redeemable male character?
Well, depending how you look at it, there's only actually one male character in the entire film and the point is kind of that he's flawed but human
>is there a single redeemable male character?

Wrong. Every male character in the film is either a predator, abusive, or both. They are all meant to be different flavors of predator and abusive, but predators and abusers they all are. Are you so dull that the literal "All men are the same" message was lost on you? I'm the biggest Alex Garland fan - I truly believe DEVS is a masterpiece - but Men misses the mark so hard and is everything all the Instagram shitposters claimed it was going to be. "MEN BAD: THE MOVIE".
>"well one interpretation is that there's only one man" >"WRONG THE MESSAGE IS THAT ALL MEN ARE THE SAME ARE YOU FRICKING DUMB?" This is why people call you an idiot
The ending of that film pissed me off because it shallow surrealism for the sake of it, ending in an anticlimactic and stupid way that basically undoes the entire film that came beforehand. And the worst part is that the film was really good until then.
Same. I argued with my friends after the film about this. The last act is from a completely different film that totally runs counter to the film before it. It turns into "mother!" when it's setting itself up as Hereditary for the first 2/3rds, and it's total whiplash. There's no payoff to anything, it just ends.
jay is such a fricking pretentious asswad.
keep in mind that this "man" has a collection of hundreds of funko pops.
also, men wasnt bad, but holy frick was it up its own ass.
I dropped off taking these cucks' opinions seriously when they spend half their time acting smug for not reviewing boring shlock and trash like the Batman only to spend the other half of their time talking about Marvel, Star Wars, and Star Trek ad nauseam and called that mediocre Netflix vampire show a "masterpiece" because it had a lot of theater monologuing.
>I'm assuming a lot of people hated it
read as >I only liked it for the contrarian factor
Jay, and the whole of the RLM cast for that matter, always sounds shallow and pedantic outside of the screen (and the hours of editing that come with it)
This. He is responding to an entirely made up straw man in his own head by his own admission and is still acting like he's justifiably self righteous and upset or something. It's unironically the beginning of the end.
his opinions are very biased short sighted and low info based
he is a hipster contrarian
every single reviewer alive and dead have always been heavily biased you dumbfrick
Does everyone at Red Letter Media have shit taste?
No, Rich Evans’s ass is nice and juicy
He's a homosexual
wait, I thought that this movie was about how shitty women really are, the frick did he watch?
he's paraphrasing, people who don't like it seem to think it's about "men bad"
Did you even read what he said? He's saying that those who think it's about MEN all being bad are idiots. That doesn't invalidate your statement at all.
Sounds a lot like The Laughing Woman (1969).
ITT: mashed potato brains

They already made the movie Women. Its just called Fatal Attraction.

of course you completely miss my point, you stupid fricking moron
Jay is a closet leftist, he uses gay terms like "punching down" and "problematic".
This, Cinemaphileners are hacks, pretend to br hypisters of the internet while giving voice to ramdos on the blue bird.
homosexuals
>hypisters
I could make people buck like a chicken before it was cool
Guys what if men.. are bad? And women.. are good?
>anyone who says the movie's message is "all men are bad" are dumb
there is actually a really REALLY simple way to see if the movie gives that feeling
is there a single redeemable male character?

Why did you spoiler this, was it supposed to be like your mic drop
>not knowing how to use spoilers to create a dramatic reveal
baka
>not typing just "yes" with a spoiler tag
You arent even clever enough to realize you arent clever, looking forward to your next embarrassment
>seething after being exposed as a moron
yikes

So are we going to like the movie now? seems like it was universally hated here
>So are we going to like the movie now?
How about you just have a nice day
really really bizarre thing to get upset over, Cinemaphile levels of mental
jay is such a fricking pretentious asswad.

What the FRICK does this cuck motherFRICKER have against mashed potatoes?!
He's in denial of living in the potate state.
Dunno never seen it
Jay should get off twitter, it's not a healthy outlet for his frustrations
if your takeaway from birth of a nation is that ALL blacks are moronic overgrown criminal children, you're a moron dude
thank god I haven't followed rlm in years but I had never actually realized how much of a moron Jay is
If you haven't dropped these fricking morons I just don't know what to tell you.
jay and mike never had good opinions beyond shitting on the prequels.

This dude thought that Possessor was really good.
Possessor was kino though?

What do you mean, beginning? The "end" began a long time ago
