What the frick Nolan
The movie is only as tolerable as it is because it has a pretty solid cast- Pattinson, Dano, and FarreLl. Without these it would have nothing.
People crow about the MCU but I am tired of being asked to take the batman seriously.

The Batman suffers mostly from having Zoe Kravitz in so many scenes. What could have been an excellent movie is instead quite mediocre.
Patterson does a great job. The vibe and atmosphere is good. Everything about the movie is nice except catwoman.
The action is a bit better. I rewatched the Nolan movies and the batman recently and I had forgotten that the Nolan ones suffer greatly from the old "enemies run up and stick their gun right in the heros chest".
The Batman didn't have as much of that.
