>every other reactor is watching gay shit because muh pride month. >Cassie is ignoring all that and just watching animated movies all month
truly our girl.
She was originally going to do it in may and call it "Ani-may." I honestly don't know if she meant it as a pun or not. She's so amusingly naive that if you told me she never actually heard the word "anime" I might believe it
Did you like Batman the Animated Series? Okay, watch this movie.
Do you like the idea of someone from the Joker's past getting revenge? Okay, maybe watch this movie.
Do you like the idea of Bruce having yet another random love interest that he has to abandon because muh Batman? Okay, maybe watch this movie.
It's a good movie, but only from a 90's animation perspective.
>I haven't seen that episode yet
It's the 31 episode, if you're watching in a correct chronological order (starting from On Leather Wings, not from The cat and the Claw – Part 1, as it was initially aired)
Because: >Canonically, the earliest Phantasm could occur is immediately after the episode "The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy," since that is the episode where the Bat-Signal makes its DCAU debut
>the Mr Freeze movie
Was clearly made to send off the mr freeze character, but since they bring him back in TNBA and BB essentially makes the whole movie pointless
I don't think it's THE Batman movie or even a good movie version of The Animated Series, but I also think it's the best Batman movie and essential to TAS.
i vividly remember the phantom was his girlfriend all along and she was presumably death when joker blew up the theme park at the end. did she ever appear again in another installment?
If Hollywood has to ask for advice from the studio behind The Amazing Digital Circus on how to be kino again like the studio says they have, then not anytime soon.
I thought it was going to be Batman VS some really badass skeleton version of The Punisher. It was, but not the way I was expecting and was severely disappointed. I expected something like Batman VS Lock-Up, with two guys with similar ideals but different ways of going about seeing them fulfilled, ending with them just beating the shit out of each other because they cannot reconcile. Instead, it was a romance drama. Fricking hell. Phantasm had such a great design too
As a huge fan of Batman comics, the entire animated series is the most overrated piece of Batman media ever. It has like a hundred episodes, and there's barely one or two that are memorable at all. Heart of Ice is not a masterpiece, it's just "muh wife" and that's it. Nothing groundbreaking.
frick you I don't care if you watch it or not
yeah well you should care. my time is extremely valuable.
Not to me
Watch and then watch /ourgirl/'s reaction
It looks like she enjoyed it from the thumbnail.
That's a watch for me.
e-celebs and social media are literal parasites. They produce nothing and their media is just "reacting" or responding to the hard work of others.
Blame the algorithm.
blame white people for Black folk while you're at it.
This is absolutely correct but Cassie is the exception
>watching reaction videos
die of cancer, homosexual
>watch /ourgirl/'s
>name cropped out on purpose
wasnt gonna watch it anyway, but why are you a homosexual?
>every other reactor is watching gay shit because muh pride month.

I like it and I would hate it if some hack like JJ Abraham or Matt Reeves made a remake of this movie
32mm batman TAS in film format. What's to hate? It's only 1 hour 15 minutes.
Watch the open matte (4:3), not the theatrical version. Watch it after The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy episode of BTAS. It's really good.
I haven't seen that episode yet

no. frick open matte.
The widescreen version is shit tho:
https://welcometoyourdoomshow.com/2017/07/04/batman-aspect-ratio-of-the-phantasm/
Basedl
nothing wrong with 4:3, but open matte is gay.
>Watch it after The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy episode of BTAS.
Because...?
because you're supposed to marathon the entire IP
Because:
>Canonically, the earliest Phantasm could occur is immediately after the episode "The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy," since that is the episode where the Bat-Signal makes its DCAU debut
I just watched it, it was cheesy fun, and then I go read reviews and they claim it is terrible.
I wish this movie didn't have Joker.
To be fair, at that time the Joker was not yet an overexploited character
I would have felt the same way if it were Penguin or Two-Face.
Good point, they need a story of Batman dealing only with normal ruffians like Falcone and the crime families in Gotham
Just watch it you dumb b***h, it's maybe 80 minutes.
I remember having a VHS 3 pack with this, the Mr Freeze movie, and the Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker movie. All three were kino thougheverbeit
>the Mr Freeze movie
Was clearly made to send off the mr freeze character, but since they bring him back in TNBA and BB essentially makes the whole movie pointless
The BB episode was nice at least though I remember the TNBA one being weak.
It's good but massively overrated by batgays
It's an extended BTAS episode
Yes, but it is an episode with a lot of soul and the final twist is well put together.
I don't think it's THE Batman movie or even a good movie version of The Animated Series, but I also think it's the best Batman movie and essential to TAS.
I do not understand what you say
i vividly remember the phantom was his girlfriend all along and she was presumably death when joker blew up the theme park at the end. did she ever appear again in another installment?
She did in Justice League Unlimited, in the Epilogue episode
Hands down the best feature length batman media
The closest WB is likely to get in our lifetimes.
is it even possible for hollywood to make kino on the level of batman tas ever again?
If Hollywood has to ask for advice from the studio behind The Amazing Digital Circus on how to be kino again like the studio says they have, then not anytime soon.
The best ever version of "First Appearance of Batman":
No. Modern animation(both western and eastern) is completely devoid of sovl
Unless it's BTAS
It's great. Very satisfying movie. Goes by fairly quick too. It has a lot of heart and worth the hype it gets.

Prequel film to BTAS which along with STAS kicked off the DCAU which is based as frick.
