No. Reboots of beloved movies / series never go well because they can't escape their shadow. The original run of Futurama is one of the best television comedies of all time, they should have just left it at that.
This show had run its course by the first cancellation. They might make 1 or 2 good new episodes, but the cast has aged out of the characters for the most part, and nothing Groening is associated with has been good in ~15 years.
> Season 6 was great.
S06E03 Attack of the Killer App (the Susan boil episode)
S06E04 Proposition Infinity (the robosexuality episode)
S06E05 The Duh-Vinci Code
Three in a fricking row right from the start. People only remember Susan boil, but all three are legitimate contenders for the series worst episode. There are some decent ones later on, but more bad and middling too.
It will probably be awful looking at Disenchantment.
I am a huge fan of Futurama though, so I am hoping for the best.
Didnt they literally end the show with them stuck in a timeloop?
They escaped the time loop at the end.
Name ONE reboot that turned out good
There's another Futurama reboot? Who is it this time, CC again?
It ended great for what was otherwise a terrible run, just leave it be.
hulu
Fricking hell, it's over.
I think it's going to be like the reboot. Mostly mediocre, some good episodes, some awful.
Futurama was never good
Shows aren’t allowed to be funny anymore.
they had a chance when they said they won't bring back that psychopath
but then they brought him back
He didn't get his pay raise, which was pretty good.
Twitter is a disease
It will be terrible with maybe a couple good episodes in-between.
It barely passed good last time, I'm skipping it this time.
the last futurama reboot was mostly dogshit with a couple good eps. I doubt we'll even get one good one this time round
genuinely the only episode from the reboot I can recall being good from memory is the late philip j fry
There's another reboot? No it will not be good.
>the Futurama reboot
...the what
the Futurama reboot
wasn't Season 6/7 already a reboot
Its a reboot of a reboot
at least I just read DiMaggio is definitely returning
Futurama ended with Devil's Hands and any episode that's in 16:9 is just fanfiction.
bruh
>re-re-reboot
Pass.
Futurama only have 3 good seasons
/thread
no
*mogs disenchantment*
Pssh, nothing personal, Groaning
Anything with Master Shake in it is good.

No, but who the frick cares? Futurama was on borrowed time ever since it came back from hiatus.

Season 6 was great. Season 7 was ok
People really don't know what they're talking about.

duhvinci was ok. not great but not the worst.
But it also had The Prisoner of Benda.
And Frick you, that was the first time I laughed at a groening show in years.
wrong
No. Reboots are generally not good and don't come from a place of creativity but milking a franchise.
why the FRICK did they shorten the intro?
"Lost" made it trendy to have super short intros.
Who knows
When has a reboot ever been good?
jesus christ i was hoping this never happened, but had a feeling it would. its gonna be shit
Bender is cringe
it was funny att (at the time)
