Dinobot was the best. This whole show was shockingly well written, but Dinobot quoting Shakespeare while he grapples with whether or not his life would have meaning without violence in it is some crazy shit to lay on an eight year old.
Yeah. Dinobot had a penchant for the bard's works (Ask Vector states that by the Beast Era Cybertron was well-versed in human culture) and there's a couple episodes where he gets a qoute in. Megs also got a "Cry havoc!" in once, too.
>In 2012 Rainmaker’s previous President, Catherine Winder, was running the company into the ground. They were on the verge of going under (see the XingXing buyout details below)! Eventually, she left on a business trip. While she was away, those that feared for the company’s future and still had some ties to former Mainframe Ent. employees contacted someone to help out.
>That person did so reluctantly, and the advice given by them helped. Sounds good, right? No.
Upon her return, Winder found out and went BALLISTIC.
>She ordered EVERYTHING from the Mainframe Entertainment era to be either dumped (physical items such as posters, prints, plaques, awards, and maquettes tossed in the dumpster) or purged from the system (digital files like textures, character and environment models…yes that means Bob and Mainframe, etc).
Winder now runs the company that created Invincible.
Holy shit. The power of nepotism/cronyism is just astounding.
An emotional c**t (in the gender neutral Australian sense) like this shouldn't even be in charge of janitorial let alone a company.
I'll give the CG a pass. It's what, the second or third full-CG show ever made or something? 'Sides, there's something really homely about not being able to have more than twenty or so objects on-screen at a time.
>Japan makes Airrazor a dude because why not >unintentionally result in yaoi romance in their kids show >try to pull "it's actually a strong master-student relationship!" out of their ass, which works about as well as "they're cousins!" did on Sailor Moon
>That would involve remaking scenes using assets that no longer exist, you're basically asking them to make an entire new show.
Oh well. Then a new Beast Wars show then. Would be fun if instead of time traveling it would be Maximals fighting Predacons on planets terraformed by humans and in such a way so that the Maximals wouldn't cause a political scandal of galactic levels (and even more so when they find out what the Predacons are looking for...AND A POLITICAL SCANDAL WILL BE THE LEAST OF THEIR WORRIES). Even made a rough story for it.
The Vok's implications are interesting. They literally merged two beings and piloted their corpse. They care not for the beings they twisted into a new form. It almost has some horror vibes
Dinobot went down as a total badass here. All those preds, some are TMs and he took them all on. With his entire story arc and badass moments no wonder he got first into the hall of legends.
>Megatron takes over cybertron and now the BM crew are on the run and constantly hunted
Is a great idea but MAN did it suck when Megatron's character suddenly instaflipped to this weird organic hating thing and pretty much everything that followed.
Almost none of the BW characters are consistent in BM >Megatron randomly hates organics >Optimus becomes a fanatical hippie >Edgelord Silverbolt who thinks that ideals are for idiots >Sappy Blackarachnia pathetically pining for her boyfriend >Rattrap is treated like a special needs kid and WILLINGLY GOES TO MEGATRON for weaponry >Rhinox willingly becoming a scheming moustache-twirling villain
About the only character who had some logical growth was Cheetor, basically completing his arc from the start of the Beast Wars as the naieve kid and becoming a pseudo Rodimus Prime
The rest is silence.
no it's not

Wait that was a Shakespeare quote?

Dumb question, which play is dinobot quoting in his death speech?
Hamlet's where the "The Rest is Silence" came from, I think the "Tell my tale truly" portion might be original?
Much appreciated.
All I know of Hamlet was when Othello died from the vampire and his last words were, "Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit"
Hamlet. "The rest is silence" is a direct quotation of the eponymous' character's final words.
DA NA, DA NA, DA NA NA
Megatron's voice is hot
Yessssss
It was pretty good. Probably the only transformers cartoon i like.
BEASTIES
need megatron to destroy my pussy NOW
you on right?
Stop posting, Inferno
Its a shame they'll never rerender this show the CGI didn't age well but everything else was gold.
Godlike
They literally can't rerender the show. Mainframe's archives were trashed during a woman moment.
>ReBoot is HD fricking never
this sucks
damn
>Mainframe's archives were trashed during a woman moment.
What?

Plus looking at stuff like
It still looks cool in a stylized way, it gives it an atmosphere it wouldn't have if it looked more polished.
FEAST MACHINGES

I wanted to make a YTP of Beast Machines once
shout out to the Japanese intro for being so out there
>WAR WAR
>ARASOI WA STOP IT
>Japan makes Airrazor a dude because why not
>unintentionally result in yaoi romance in their kids show
>try to pull "it's actually a strong master-student relationship!" out of their ass, which works about as well as "they're cousins!" did on Sailor Moon
reminder that the italian version of Beast Wars is called "Rumbles of Thunder and Skies of Fire for the Biocombat"
that's an italian opening if I've ever heard one
I still don't understand how Megatron took over Cybertron in Beast Machines.
plot reasons
He just did okay
You all hoping the upcoming Rise of The Beasts movie will be good enough to re-ignite Hasbro's interest in Beast Wars?
not really hopefully
I only hope it will be good and that there will be a new Beast Wars show at one point.
i hope for an hd rerelease of the show, maybe in bluray
Would be cool with sharper graphics and some of the animation errors fixed.
But I'd also would like something new and fresh.
You can't release an HD product that doesn't exist, at the most it'd be a heavily processed version that would reveal things you wouldn't want to see.
That would involve remaking scenes using assets that no longer exist, you're basically asking them to make an entire new show.

I was only ever into beast era transformers
too based for a reboot,
and tigerhawk is the son of tigertron and airazor not some trans or duel gender bullshit
Tigerhawk is bullshit that should never had existed in the first place.
The Vok's implications are interesting. They literally merged two beings and piloted their corpse. They care not for the beings they twisted into a new form. It almost has some horror vibes
yeah the first appearance, what came later is completely disappointing
But how can he not be trans if he is a Transformer?
which one was the gay one?
>the one scene from The Low Road
Dinobot and Rattrap, easy
Dinobot went down as a total badass here. All those preds, some are TMs and he took them all on. With his entire story arc and badass moments no wonder he got first into the hall of legends.
The vehicon generals being established characters was a decent idea. Beast Machines gets alot of flak but it had some decent ideas here and there.
Evil Rhinox was not a decent idea though
Same goes for most of the Beast Machines characterisations
>Evil Rhinox was not a decent idea though
It was from a certain point of view...at the cost of the Predacons for comedic purposes.
Beast Machines would've been fine in a vacuum, it was just an absolutely horrendous sequel to Beast Wars.
I mean the execution was a problem.
