is that Denethor
You better believe I am here for some Fringe posting, it's a shame this thread will die quickly. What's everyones favourite episode?
August.
Letters of Transit, I love the observer takeover arc
Yes
Yes the observer takeover was kino because it felt like it came from nowhere.
Fun fact: there is an observer in every episode of Fringe
I remember like an episode with a white rose drawing, maybe that was the name. Something something time travel? too long ago
The Day We Died. That last scene with the observers was mindblowing.
Remind me what happened
IIRC Peter enters the machine and is erased from time, and then the Observers all applaud each other for having finally accomplished what they had been trying to do, repair the damage that was caused by September being seen by and accidentally distracting Walternate in his lab when he discovered the Panacea that saved Peter's life
Right, that is true I think. In either case after S5 things return to exactly how they were in season 4 with all previous events having happened except now the observers aren't a threat anymore
Well not entirely, as Walter is gone forever, that ending always gets to me.
>It's a beautiful name
>What is?
>Astrid
I hope he made it better for the observers
The robocop time travelling one
Reminds me of the 12 monkeys TV show which is also peak comfy scifi
early fringe was so fricking good
Its one of the few shows I dropped, and it wasn't even intentionally. Two episodes into the final season I just lost interest and put it off. I tried a few times to pick it back up but still have yet to see its conclusion.
Is it worth it? I may need to revisit some pivotal episodes, its been a few years.
Same, but I only got halfway through the first season. It seemed too formulaic for my taste, like House but with less side story to spice it up and worse actors.
That's ironic. It eventually gets TOO heavy on the side stories if you ask me.
how long does it take to get to that point would you say?
The side story starts to develop pretty fast when you meet the first villain, David Robert Jones. After that it becomes pretty consistent. It becomes too heavy on the sidestory starting about halfway through season 2 I wanna say and largely stays that way until the end of the show, with season 5 literally being one single story arc.
sounds good to me, guess I'll give it a second shot this winter, thanks
call me autistic but it seems like a comfy show to watch during the cold season
That's funny. I watch every episode each year during the summer. To each their own, I guess.
Best episode
Sell me on fringe. I watched the first 6 episodes or so and it just seemed like even more formulaic X-Files? I couldn't get into it. Does it go somewhere or?
if youre a mexican you will love it
>Only you starts playing
It was fun figuring out how the cases related to the character development in each episode. At least at the beginning. It was a really well written show.
I honestly only ever watched like 4 episodes of this show
