      Lmao. Too true.

      >original
But not for whose who played (or were exposed to) the Arkham games.
Batfleck is just that + no morals so he's a ruthless murderer

Batfleck is obviously based on The Dark Knight Returns, which was a new take for a live action movie. And as for him killing, most of it is incidental and not direct. It depends on the writer of course, but Batman is known to cause death to criminals in the comics on occasion.

I'm one of the Snyder fans, and if you watch, you'll notice he follows the same sort of rules of engagement we were constraining our military to in Afghanistan:

          >Fire when fired on
          >Target structure and equipment
          >Blame it all on "collateral damage"

Because that's what tge Batman represents in BvS - the American military. Bruce himself? He's post-911 America

          >Wealthier than most of the world
          >Traumatized by a recent horror
          >Getting manipulated by an even wealthier elite

apparently when Bale first turned up to be Batman he's gone from nearly dead skinny Machinist to "too big" and "like a bear" and he had to slim down a bit. The man is mental!

I mean that’s why I said in live action, I have to say he was more interesting in BVS than he was in Justice League where he was just more of a traditional Batman still pretty cool though

he felt pathetic and worthless in JL, even in the synder cut whereas everyone else was better

I'm going to let you in on a little secret: if you hit someone so hard they are knocked out for many minutes, you've probably killed them. Batman would know this. The reality is that Batman's policy of never killing has always been a policy of seriously endangering the lives of his enemies. All Batmen are ruthless murderers, it's just that some are more honest about it.

If you think about it, he basically gives a fate worse than death:
        >Broken, if not shattered bones.
        >Probably paralysis with the gauntlets alone, on top of being hit by peak human male.
        >Hospital bills.
        >Trauma.

You might as well just go full Punisher at this point. Hell, Nolan & even older ones have killed before, it's not new for live-action ones.

This. Pattinson's Batman is literally a little babby boy only 2 years into it. Batfleck is the older, chiseled Batman who's been LIFTING for 20+ years and has old man strength. It's what happens when athletes age.

wasn't pattinson supposed to be a kid who was relatively new at being batman who was not that good at it yet

I meant he was too similar to bale just at a different stage sure but he still seemed incompetent and unsure of himself even for a novice Batman

I havnt seen the film but I heard he was a few years in the suit? That shouldnt be novice, you should be pretty fricking hard by then.

Does it hint at him being experienced? Guess I should go watch it, reluctantly

i hated the batman. pattinson looks good as batman, he's a cool guy with a nice face loved him in metropolis, zoe kravitz looked real hot as catwoman too she was nice, and the movie looks nice i guess, but i hated everything else about it, soundtrack, script, dialogue, the way every scene is too long, the lack of any tension as the story just drags and drags, fricking paul danos cringe ass joke of an "incel" villain. that fricking scene where wayne holds alfred's hand lmao. humanitarian batman handing out blankets to the people as that damn nirvana song plays for the second time

      Anonymous

Yeah that scene where the riddler kills the guy in the car and the screen goes blurry was just annoying to look at in the theater just went on too long and I wish Batman movies would focus more on timeless relatable stories like in the animated series rather than politics or real world events

I completely agree, Master Dubsman. Batfleck is the only live-action Batman I ever thought was genuinely intimidating. I've thought many of them were cool, but never once did I feel that a crook would look at them and think, "That might actually be some kind of monster." This was amazing shit.

For me, it wasn't even that it was a bad movie, just a bit bland and mediocre. It didn't help that it really did just feel like it was just covering the same ground Nolan already did.

I like a buff Batman but there was something about Batfleck that looked comical. He always looked like an old dad with a massive beer gut and he waddled around in almost every scene, the fat in his face jiggling to and fro.
